Completely agreed. I've hated every Sabres coach since Ruff. I was just pointing out that's why the coach was hired first in this situation. Oops I'm wrong anyway. Who cares? I don't anymore. Back to work.

There's no way that was all PLF's fault. Sometimes you don't realize that a job is awful until you've already been hired, and he had other options to fall back on.

In hindsight, LaFontaine should have been the canary in the coal mine for every one of us fans. I think he saw what he was dealing with and saw where this thing was headed and got the ***** out of Dodge.

Just like the Bills. The only reason the Bills are good now is that they finally lucked into good GM and HC hires. Luckily that happened years ago. I imagine it's going to get tougher and tougher to even luck into good hockey hires. The pool of candidates is tiny and shrinking already.

This Jackets - Blackhawks game is a pretty good one. Roslovic just scored his 2nd to tie it at 4. 8 minutes to go in regulation.

Reminded me of that Seattle - Pittsburgh Superbowl, where the Seahawks got hosed by big phantom calls all game. That 2nd quarter last night was tough to watch, penalty-wise, and I had no rooting interest.

Watching that Bills - Patriots game was surreal for me. So, I imagine that's what it's been like to watch a Bills - Patriots game as a Patriots fan for the last 20 ***** years. I like this side of it much better!

Wow, those uniforms are way more polarizing than I thought. But, hey, if they keep winning, I don't care if they borrow the turd burgers and wear those.
