Looks like Tortorella and the Blue Jackets will mutually part ways after this season. His contract is up and neither side seems to want an extension at this point. He'll be available if the Sabres want him, but I just don't see it happening. He's not going to hold his tongue for one thing, which the Pegulas seem like they'd be adverse to.

Just got my first Pfizer shot. Appointment in 3 weeks for the 2nd. Process was fairly smooth but I went to a major medical facility near me. I had covid in early to mid December. Luckily very mild symptoms. I've had worse colds. The biggest pain was the 2 week quarantine and calling everyone I had been in contact with, which I did give it to one other person prior to having symptoms and me knowing I had it. The other person is fine as well thankfully. I am all ready to do my part to get civilization as back to normal as possible.

Beane has already said it's a reset year for Trubisky and he doesn't expect him to be a long term option at backup QB. Trubisky's numbers aren't actually that bad. Wow, Puljujarvi turned into a useful player? He just played the "big guy in front of the net" role really well to score his 8th. Looks like he had a decent season a couple years ago, but a bad one last year.
