It was an error downgrading Lazar. We replaced him with a worse, more expensive player without the intangibles that Lazar brings. And Boston gets Lazar, a cheap, useful player for a million dollars next year as well. There's a reason this team sucks yet we have no cap room.

I like Jack Eichel the hockey player well enough. I'm not sure about Eichel the captain.

Arm will hurt overnight and tomorrow. Much more than a regular shot. At least that's been my 24 hour experience.

So sad that we have to ask that question.

Eichel's play at times leaves a lot to be desired. He can be as disinterested as anyone, including Hall. I'm just not sure he has the fiery competitiveness I think we need in a captain to attempt to right this ship. That's on him, not the team he's surrounded with.

Even if the Bills are treading water and are about the same, I feel that KC may have gotten slightly worse this offseason. They blew up their offensive line, so that's going to be a question mark for them, especially.
