  1. And a really nice play there to drop the puck, throw the hip to stop the forecheck, and then retrieve the puck. Easy clear.
  2. Skinner deserved it... but got the retaliation. If we weren't so bad 4-on-4 and 3-on-3 I wouldn't mind so much.
  3. Wow. STL has an 8-game home winning streak against Buffalo --- and 30-11 scoring advantage. 11 goals in 8 games isn't going to cut it.
  4. Great deflection. Cozen's goal was a bit wonky, but I don't know that a goalie has a had a chance on any goal tonight.
  5. Wooooooo! That was a wicked wrister to a tip.
  6. And we're looking for a similar outcome from our Tuch. Tuuch.
  7. 6 players already with 15 goals or more. We have 2 and Cozens and Okposo are on pace for it. And Tuch.
  8. Damn. Great deflection. And Toker is blinded by the multiple players in front. That's just a good pair of goals.
  9. Panger loves the best thing about Eakin. The mullet. Pang also hasn't had hair since... since...
  10. STL replay.... they admit that's a terrible call.
  11. Hayden doesn't have the wheels to get to the red line... allows the defender to close and chop the puck out of play. Two more speedy strides and that puck gets deep instead. The top line got the memo after going silent in Montreal.
  12. Heh... whoops. That gaff didn't slip through.
  13. I don't know if they've had enough leads to qualify for blown one-goal leads. But losses after leading by 2... that is a category they could easily lead.
  14. It's nice hearing Panger again over on the STL broadcast. Good announcer tandem for the Blues. STL got Buchnevich for a 2nd and Sammy Blais.
  15. Good pass through, good shot. Not much Anderson can do there.
  16. Hey! We dumped the puck in on the PP and then battled for it. Nearly reestablished possession, but went after the dump-in with authority. Blergh. Bad Rasmus!
  17. Nice job, Skinner! And good two line pass to spring him.
  18. Hey --- the Eakin line read our thread and had a really solid shift.
  19. No. It was 8 AM here in the Pacific time zone when I started the thread. Someone back in Buffalo was eating lunch and no GDT existed yet. Good. Only their hatred can destroy us.
  20. I don't know... Fitz might be the ideal partner for Dahlin. Maybe. Pairings and lines don't always make sense on paper.
  21. The GM doesn't have to insist on anything, he simply makes the moves that keep them in the lineup. Biro was up for Olofsson's spot and played, now Olofsson is back and Biro is down to the AHL. Jankowski is the most recent signee and is the 13th forward currently, so he's first out. The real indicator of Granato's preferred players will be if an when Girgs and Hinostroza return --- does Bjork or Hayden drop from the lineup first? And does Eakin retain a spot if they're both back? Once healthy, my guess is Quinn heads back to Rochester, too. (And rightfully so, rather than burn an ELC year this season, save it for next year when he can contribute meaningfully).
