Good job, Yzerman. His goal is to draft higher than Buffalo and Ottawa this year, and next year. And every year hereafter.

But even larger. ^This. Though 89 is one of the very coolest numbers possible, perhaps in the history of ever. But choosing a number in the 60s and 70s? What are you, an offensive lineman? You receive a pass and you get whistled for Illegal Touching? 12 is also my number so I'm a bit happier, and the Sabres have generally struggled with the 12 sweater so I'm thinking they're due to have a hit.

When healthy , who are the twelve forwards now?

Not too important note: I don't know that Greenway has played much on the left side with Minnesota, whereas JJP has been LW all season and VO has played it in the past. So just flip that line's sides. Greenway would certainly open up space for VO's shot and would be an effective forechecker with JJP. -
Rasmus Asplund traded to Nashville for a 2025 7th Round Pick

I care. No Concept of Asplund? Undaunted, I'll do so anyway! The disappointing part of the Concept of Asplund is it was a continuing thread with this team of acquiring the smart, somewhat tenacious if not physical, defensive-minded center out of Sweden who looked like a decent prospect. Someone the Red Wings would've drafted back when they had Zetterberg/Franzen. Trade for Johan Larsson, draft Rasmus Asplund, draft Marcus Davidsson. Honorable mention to Sjodin as a 7th. Angry Larry has had a fair career, Rasmus the Middle is 4th liner maybe, Davidsson never made it. But none of them made a difference. That's it. That's all I got for my Remembrance of the Concept of Asplund. -
Incomplete. Grades aren't handed out the first day of class. (Well, 2nd day of class for Stillman.)

Yes, but given his recent play, I think the Kings would be more than happy to face Quick in the playoffs than to have him in their own net. -
Tune in tomorrow!
