    I am just excited to see what this team looks like by opening day next year. I actually do think GMTM absolutely knows what he is doing, and with the amount of financial flexibility he has from the owners, and the stockpile of high draft picks the only way for him to fail to deliver us an awesome product is incompetence, which I do not feel should be an issue here. Hell, with all those draft picks over the next two drafts, combined with adept scouting/drafting, our organizational depth may in fact be the best in the NHL... Oh and having a proven winner like Craig Patrick advising doesn't hurt either.

    You are right. In that case extend Stewart. Maybe when Girgs or Foligno develop more they can build some chemistry and make a line together. Stewart is a bruiser who can score 25-30 goals per year. Why are we trying to just sell him off?

    I say sign Moulson, Erhoff and Stewart and use the ridiculous amount of draft picks we have stockpiled and build around em.

    In all seriousness, why not make a play for Kesler? Lots of talk about Vancouver shopping him because he is unhappy.Throw em a first and Halak, or maybe another forward prospect... Seriously, he would be worth it. Can anybody make a tangible argument against?
