Anyone watched the Oilers this year? Wondering if they’re off their game or we are on ours.

Last PK the Sabres maintained the box. Nobody chased and play was kept to the outside. Hats off to Boosh and Comrie.

Boosh blocks a shot then clears. Warrior!

Why is everyone picking on Spoonman when TT is available?

Watched the behind the net view of Dahlin’s goal. His wrist shot looked as fast as a slap shot. Skinner had no chance.

I like the tenacity of the Cozens line. VO almost had one but right before that the line was trying to be creative.

Peterka Cozens Hino sounds like a fun line to watch.

If this was later in the season when injuries start to mount I could see him getting picked up. For now I think he goes to Rochester. Any thoughts on who might want to claim him?

Right on. Rusty and maybe frustrated with having to deal with more defensive attention.

My take is obviously there’s something off ice. He’s playing with wingers he’s accustom to so it’s not entirely a chemistry thing. I haven’t heard of any incidents during practice or preseason and I didn’t notice any labored or cautious movements during play. Maybe it’s mental. Could be he feels pressure and when something doesn’t go like he hoped/planned, he gets frustrated. Or maybe he’s got something in his personal life that’s distracting him on ice. All speculation but I hope once he puts one in he’ll snap out of it.

Whoever is color commentary on CBS is a Chiefs fanboy.

I know what you’re saying. I just think Quinn would be better off on a line with vets than fellow rookies. Krebs, I don’t know what the answer is. Peterka seems to be doing well where he’s at.

I mean as a regular thing. Two of the three haven’t been stellar so far so it seems like the blind leading the blind. We’ll see though.

Trade him to Vegas for Eichel

I don’t think Krebs, Peterka and Quinn will be on a line together.

HCDG will figure out a way. Points early on are important but it’s only the second game.

This game proved the Sabres can stay with a good team and battle back. Gives hope and expectations to live up to. Peterka is creating opportunities and seems to have good offensive IQ. Comrie gives me hope he and Andersen can keep us in most games. Cozens and Tuch come to play. Wouldn’t mind seeing a Skinner Cozens Tuch line. Boosh is an upgrade from Pysyk and Pilut. Plays with a double edge sword. Mitts was better in the first half of the game. TT: Where did he go? It’s ok if he doesn’t score but looking disinterested is unacceptable regardless of player/contract. Krebs tries and in a month or so will be more of an asset. Quinn: Hangs out with TT at parts unknown. DMen need to pay attention and not give up so many odd man rushes. Luckily our goaltending “appears” to be noticeably better.

Krebs can take Quinn with him. Put in Hino for one of them.
