I do believe we are slowly seeing a changing of the guard in the Eastern Conference. Soon, TBL, WSH, PIT and BOS will be relegated to mediocre. BUF, NYR, FLA, TOR and eventually OTT will be the perennial playoff teams.
Coach isn’t the dman who gives up the odd man rush. He’s not the forward that loses puck battles or turns it over at/after the blue line.
I blame coaches for who they put on the ice but not player execution.
Having a hard time blaming the coaching. The coach isn’t the one on the ice making mistakes. Through the powers of deduction, players need to get their head out of their a$$.
Coyotes: 4-6-1, 7th in Central Division. 31 Gf and 45 GA.
Sabres: 7-5-0, 6th in Atlantic Division. 49 GF and 38 GA.
Good rebound chance for the Sabres coming off two consecutive losses to TBL and CAR. HCDG toyed with line combinations yesterday so waiting for game day lines to come out.
I hate seeing the team lose two in a row like everyone else but we still have a winning record. They played two very good teams back to back and didn’t look overmatched. IMO the team has handled the injuries on defense pretty well.
