I think it’s a fine line Adams is trying to toe. He knows offensively this team is in a good place but to improve goaltending it’s going to cost. Using high draft picks for NHL players reduces his ability to stock Rochester and develop more players. Trading existing players may reduce offensive production. In my inexperienced GM opinion there will be no moves until the deadline. If we are out of playoff contention Olof might be moved. I could see Mitts and/or UPL moved in the off-season giving Adams more time to find a suitable partner/return. I see Pilut gone after this year too. UPL/Mitts and a pick could get us an NHL goalie for a 1A/1B situation with Comrie next year. Defensively I imagine Adams is hoping this season’s worth of experience enables us to be more responsible in the DZone next year. Plan A is use negligible players and a pick(s) for a goalie. Keep three of four lines in tact. Rely on experience for better defense next year.

Too soon to say who the nominees are for either party. I could see Desantis beating Trump and the Dems not wanting Biden to run again.

Anyone else feel like Tuch has been floating lately. For some reason I feel like he has another gear in him that isn’t engaging. Not sure how else to describe it.

Two in the last three games for Krebs. Been noticeably better since joining KO and Girgs.

Fitz will get more ice time. Over/under on which part of the game? If it’s their ice time Clague gets about seven minutes.

Yeah I don’t have much of an issue with Asplund on the third line. Krebs seems to be ok on the fourth line with KO and Girgs mentoring him.

I guess I can live with Mitts on the top line. If he can’t be productively there then it’s been nice knowing him.

This defense injury problem sucks. I’m slowly coming around to the idea of a move to stock the cupboard a little more on the back end. A third line dman better than Pilut and Clague would be the goal IMO. Willing to part ways with Olof if that gets it done.

No issue with Dan. He’s still kind of new to doing Sabres play by play. He’s no RJ but he’s no Jack Edwards.

I think it’s too early for anyone to be mathematically eliminated. The losing streak didn’t help but they have 2/3 of the season to make up for it. IMO they still have a chance because of the offensive production but really need to tighten up defensively.

I’m done. I can’t put this team’s offense into the right words.

Skinner takes a big hit, gets up and quickly back on sides. Then he goes one against four in the OZone. Nobody got butt hurt he took a stiff shot and he stayed in the play.

I think Krebs is right where he needs to be with Girgs and KO. Two consecutive shifts that line cycled and got a couple quality shots off. To follow it up, the first and second lines put on a show. What was missing? The Mitts/VO line.

I might be in the minority but I’d like to see Hino get more playing time. Sit VO for a couple games in his stead.

I agree Dahlin did not hit him hard enough to crash UPL like that. I think that’s why Dahlin went right after him. He knew Kucherov took a “free” shot. Everything has a price though.

Boosh took that one for the team. I hope he has/gets some extra foot protection.

Yes, he was noticeable on 11 occasions in almost 20 games. Other than that he floats.

Crowd sounds pretty loud for so many empty seats. Impressive.
