I agree. What I don’t understand is the mentality of those who don’t agree. They need help in the middle six forwards and top four d pairings. But we don’t want to expend what it takes to get players who are good enough to be in those positions. Makes no sense. If anyone thinks the top six and top four we have now will be here when this team goes deep in the playoffs, you are wrong. Same goes for a couple picks and prospects.

I’m with you. Being so close to the playoffs last year should have signaled better roster moves but KA did what he did.

The current team configuration hasn’t worked since the season began. Even with last year’s optimism, they still missed the playoffs. Wasn’t the right team last year and much the same this year. There are a lot of threads about it and nothing will change so I’ll leave it at that.
