    Rangers have won nine of their last ten while the Sabres are coming off an embarrassing shutout at home to Florida last night. Enroth likely to start. Hopefully he fares better against Lundqvist who has a .913 SV% on the season. Meanwhile the Sabres have been outscored 12 to 3 on a three game losing streak.

    Anyone notice Grigorenko takes himself out of the play when the Sabres are trying to cycle the puck. He starts out directly in front of the net then backs into the slot. I know he is trying to create space for himself but by the time the puck comes toward the front there are two defenseman between him and the play.

    Loved how Lucic gets hit. I find it strange that Edwards considers being down by 3 with 20 minutes left as virtually putting the game away. Way to show faith in your own team. Anyone else think he looks like Minkus from boy meets world?

    I was just stating my opinion regarding the year he has left which I did not know. Either way as long as softy Roy doesn't come back I'm happy.

    Meh, at least Girgensons is doing well. Maybe Grigorenko is one of those guys who tears it up in Juniors but can't transition that production to the NHL. I'm not a Darcy fan but I don't blame Darcy for Grigorenko being invisible on the ice. I just don't get how on an offensively deficient team the kid doesn't make an impact or at least stand out more. I think the he's 20 years old argument is over considering three other players drafted after him are on the big club. Maybe it's not his age but a lack of capability and over hyped talent.

    I would still consider it a rental with one year left. If he had three years remaining I would feel better about giving something up for him. If he was here for only a season how does that help us especially when we aren't set for a playoff run? It gets us some more goals for a year and then we will have lost him and whatever we gave to get him. I say look for players with multiple years left on contract to get more bang for our buck.

    I would explore the option if I were TM. If we pursue it I think Col would want Myers. He is still young and has shown moments of competent position play even though he has yet to live up to his rookie year. Works for us for obvious reasons and we have shown we can compete (if that's the right word) in Myers absence. Ya there's that too. Honestly I think this year is to establish confidence and change an old negative culture. To build a competitive them your need consistency in the lineup and locker room not a revolving door of rentals so who knows. Then again maybe he would actually resign here. I guess waiting until FA would be a better option than taking on a guy who doesn't fit.
