Dude, again I said I wasn’t sure. As in I was not sure if any contract would impact the cap to the point we would have to move someone to stay under the cap. This is the third time I have admitted this to you specifically. Not sure if you are screwing with me or if sleeping under power lines and eating paint chips is involved. By the way, using numbers to prove that we do or DO NOT need to move players to accommodate his contract is math. ??

The sentences immediately after pretty much say I could be wrong on that.

Skinner will get paid no matter who he signs with. To paraphrase Herb Brooks, it’s not the best player, it’s the right player. Skinner is the right player for where this team is at and where they are going. He could have gone to any team that wanted him but he chose Buffalo. He chose Buffalo I would guess because he is thinking about his future not only financially but competitively as well. With no proof I believe a commitment was made to stay. The terms will be decided based on his production at the deadline or end of season. If I had to guess Skinner signs on the trade deadline and if necessary we move pieces to facilitate. But maybe we won’t have to move anyone. I didn’t do the math.

Wow. This is both motivating and depressing. Didn’t even ask you to go to the game. Plus I’m pretty sure you put hit out on your nephew. -

I think next season is the last. Ragnar and Bjorn are beasts. -
That’s because he is the lesser player compared to Eichel and Skinner.

For a second there I forgot what team we were playing when I read Sharks. Thought it was the Mandela Affect. -

It might take a shutdown (lockout). It would be made of goalie pads and the only way to get through are where we have Scandella. -
How much better would we be with ROR and Kane?
SABRES 0311 replied to freester's topic in The Aud Club
Woulda coulda shoulda. Both have talent so in the short term we are better. In the long term they get older and we have no real depth to replace them. -

Maybe JT lost his love for the game. -
I think Jack needs a mentor even though he’s the Captain. Someone to guide him on leading other men in what they will go through in the next few years. There has to be a team out there trying to get younger who would part ways with say a middle six guy. Preferably someone who can play on his wing. Maybe Pommers was supposed to be that guy.

Pullout of Russia Nuclear Arms Treaty?!
SABRES 0311 replied to Eleven's topic in The Oval Office (Politics)'s Topics
Crazy thing is I don’t believe the average person in most countries really want to go to war with another country. I understand there are ideological differences with Pakistan/India and NK (propaganda)/US, but humans know the cost. If the cause is not equal to or greater than the cost nobody wins. Don’t get me wrong I do believe there are instances where war is unavoidable but a WW3 scenario is completely avoidable as there is more to lose than gain. Only way I see it happening is if there was an intentional push. -

Ok folks here we go! Our Sabres get ready to clip the Jets’ wings and ground them. Below is excerpts from the Winnipeg Sun and I thought it would be fun to see it from another perspective. Mr. Laine meet Mr. McCabe. Oh you’ve already met. Must have been a smashing conversation. THE BIG MATCHUP Jacob Trouba and Josh Morrissey vs. Jeff Skinner The future of the Sabres’ top goal-scorer remains a question mark, with Skinner set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. However, what’s not a question is that Skinner remains one of the top goal-scorers in the NHL (33) and he will garner plenty of attention from the Jets’ top pairing of Trouba and Morrissey. There is a show called Mountain Men which shows what it’s like to live off the grid in different climates/terrain. Might be up your alley.
