Torts is gonna have CBJ fired up. Home game and things aren’t going their way so far. I’m just guessing but I expect them to try and lay the body on our forwards to slow them down. Sabres just need to battle through it. As cliche as it sounds they need to stick to their game. CBJ will take penalties out of frustration and our PP is really good right now.

I don’t take any real personal offense when it comes to politics. I was kind of worried when in 2016 we had two choices you would only see in a bad movie. I have criticized Trump before. For example I am not totally in favor of the wall thing and I think it’s nothing more than an emotional trigger for his supporters. It hasn’t been fun watching them miss the playoffs but I always look forward to watching them play. I think they are good now but STL wasn’t good in the beginning of last season. Two games in is too few to make a judgment.

I’d say near term look at their competitiveness at the end of the month. If it’s still high then I’m hopeful. If they still look like they can hang with the best by all star break I’m expecting playoffs. If they get in the playoffs I only expect them to make the most of the experience. Next year I expect at least round two.

Yeah I don’t see it happening until they lose but Vesey seems invisible to me.

At a glance I can see ERod taking over for Vesey. I now see he was over hyped.

After last years streak, discussions equated it to puck luck. I think any streaks this year will be attributed to team effort, speed and creativity. Risto and McCabe bouncing opponents off the ice doesn’t hurt either.
