To be clear the article points to Russia as the reason for allocating more money to military modernization. The reference to the U.S. infers Germany is unclear the direction of the U.S., not that the U.S. poses a direct threat to Germany. More and more I see similarities between what is happening now and prior to both world wars. It’s happening in Europe and Asia. Add in NK military involvement in Ukraine and known relationships between Russia, China, and Middle East entities.

Scratch Benson. Maybe in a couple years he’ll be relevant in the top nine. Norris is injury prone so we’ll see what he can do next year. I like Zucker but this was a contract year for a guy nobody had high expectations for.

I think that guy is correct. I’d use Quinn and our first round pick to get a 1C. Move Thompson to the wing. Move OP for a top four dman. Use some prospect(s) and Benson for a second line winger. See what you can do to upgrade UPL.

Not going to be able to get a number one goalie, top four dman, and top six forward in one summer with KA. We’re screwed next year.

Nobody knows what he is or can be after just a couple games. He’s doing ok but that's on a team who no longer has realistic expectations (or pressure) to make the playoffs. Let’s see how he does in camp, preseason, and maybe October if he makes it. Maybe another question is, can we flip him in a package for the proven top four dman we really need.
