EJ Gaines allowed a passer rating of 8.7 when targeted yesterday. It would be awesome if he can keep that up next week.

Yeah, the team was awful to start the year under Roman. If the Bills fire Dennison and get a competent OC like we did last year, that would change things. This year's defense is playing much better than Rex's team ever has, despite having worse talent on paper, so there is that for sure. But I never said last year's team would win, just that there is doubt that this year's team is better. It appears to be the opposite of last year thus far: great defense, terrible offense.

Yes? This year's team is one of the worst offenses in the league after last year's was in the top 6 during Lynn's tenure.

So satifsying. I had a Pats fan coworker literally yell "The Bills are going to get destroyed by the Broncos" when I said they could win. I am going to have the biggest, smuggest I-told-you-so smile on my face tomorrow.

Do the refs ever call Denver for holding? It was really blatant on that 3rd down play.

Ugh, I forgot to make a pick. Is it possible for the commish (do survival leagues have commissioners?) to change my pick? If so, I'll take Cowgirls since that game is tomorrow.

Much better clock management. Technically we didn't trade extra picks. We downgraded a 3rd rounder to a 5th rounder.

Roman wasn't good either. Anthony Lynn knew how to run the offense with the talent we have.

I can see your reading of that, but I would be inclined to read that as Stephen Curry is uninvited. Looks like a "You can't quit, you're fired!" sort of tactic. Bizarre.

Robert Woods has 6 receptions for 108 yards, Sammy has 5 for 93 and a TD. Also, Gurley is making my SabreSpace fantasy team proud tonight. Maybe I'll finally get my first win of the season.

It didn't seem like Dennison had him look past the line of scrimmage until the final drive of the game (sadly, only a mild exaggeration), so I am going to hesitantly say coaching on this one.

Don't forget Judge's other wonderful stat. Al Rosen had 72 strikeouts in his rookie season, Ted Williams had 64. Judge currently sits at 199, more than both combined and then some.
