  1. To clarify, and this is the only post I'll make on it so as not to continue derailing the thread, the term SJW has changed over the last decade and especially the last few years. It used to be a fairly neutral term, or even positive term, for someone interested in civil rights, especially feminism. It has since taken a hard turn towards being essentially a slur these days that a certain segment of the right uses against a certain segment of the left, and using it is effectively a calling card to associate yourself with people who are more than happy to harass, insult, and doxx (revealing someone's real identity/personal info like address or phone number) women and those who defend them online. Since I have never considered you among that latter group, I felt that you might not grasp the full situation you are engendering with your use of the term. Anyway, back to Dahlin.
  2. 1. I don't get that impression at all. 2. I don't think you understand the term SJW.
  3. I never said it did. I added additional information to the preconceived notion about him.
  4. And as senior offensive assistant and then assistant head coach.
  5. For what it's worth, Andy Reid and David Culley have been together since 99, Reid's first year as a head coach. Granted, that wasn't as a QB coach, but Reid must have some amount of respect for the guy to keep him for nearly 2 decades.
  6. You're right. I forgot "best-of-7".
  7. Not to throw salt in the wound, but the Cavs have beaten Toronto in 10 straight playoff games, an NBA record, and both sweeps culminated on May 7. The only people in NBA history who have had more than 2 consecutive postseasons with a series sweep are LeBron and LeBron's teammates.
  8. Horse racing, boxing, MMA. These are sports about which I don't understand why people care.
  9. From that same website, for 17 year olds: http://www.quanthockey.com/shl/en/player-age/17-year-old-shl-players.html
  10. They had 2 first and 2 second rounders. I don't know if that would have been enough to move up, but maybe add a player in there.
  11. Wow, just heard. Glad to see him go and I hope Kim Pegula is up to the task.
  12. I'm on board with this. All hail Rasmus Allen.
  13. Go Cavs, I say halfheartedly as someone that doesn't care much about basketball.
  14. It's been 31 years since we last drafted #1 and there are 31 teams in the league. Fitting.
  15. When I was a little boy, my aunt used to tell me all the best people are born in April. Happy belated/right on time/early birthday, best people.
  16. It's more like: Buffalo: 59.6774% Montreal: 30.6452% Carolina: 9.6774% Think of it like the Monty Hall problem. The "doors" that have been "opened" are teams that have been revealed, increasing the chances proportionally for the remaining teams.
  17. I don't think anyone really believes it's fixed. It's just a way to let off steam.
  18. More like 3 wasted picks and Cordy Glenn. And concerns aren't just with his accuracy.
  19. CB Taron Johnson. Another pick that won't help the offense. So we take the biggest risk QB of the draft, and we're pretty much stacking the entire deck against his chances of success.
  20. Pro Football Focus says Phillips graded as the best run-stopping tackle in the entire draft last year. Cool.
  21. This guy looks great, but did we really need a DT? So many holes on the offense.
  22. I'm just as upset as the next guy about the Allen pick, but do we really need to make a thread like this about it? Or is this going to be the negativity thread so we can keep it out of the main Bills thread? That might not be a bad idea.
  23. A friend of mine who doesn't follow college football at all made sure to point out to me that the Patriots drafted a guy named I. Wynn.
