I think they can do it. Last season they scored 21 goals over a 3 game stretch. The first game in that streak was also a home game against LA. :D
Not to mention the 0-6-2 record in the last 8, so the Sabres are due for a win; hopefully it's another big one.
Man, the first game I don't see/listen to while in NY for the break, and they go and score 10. Does anyone errr... *ahem* have the game captured or know a link to someone who does? I'd really like to watch this.
Currently, Miller is 5th in GAA and 4th in SV%. Pretty impressive stats for one's rookie season. If this wasn't the year of Ovechkin and Crosby, and Miller wasn't injured, wouldn't he be in the running for the Calder Trophy?
Only Florida stands in the way of us tying the record. Let's not forget the last game. Take it to 'em Sabres!
Only 1 point behind Ottawa now, although they do have 4 games in hand.
Heh. Looks like the NHL was right. 11 straight wins for Marty. It's really nice to see (or in my case listen) to a win over a team as hot as the Sabres.
Go Sabres! NHL.com is hinting that the Sabres will win; they say Biron has won his last 11 games. I'll accept that. I'm going out on a limb here and say Vanek gets two assists. The only foundation I have to base this on as that after this game in my NHL06 season, he had 6 goals and 16 assists. Hey, it's pretty close to real life.
