  1. I've played around with the different scenarios, and this is true. Here are the tiebreaking scenarios (hopefully I haven't missed anything): If the Pats beat the Bills this week, they clinch the division immediately (head-to-head tiebreaker). If the Bills go 4-0 and the Pats 2-2 with the second loss to either the Jets or Dolphins, the Bills win the division (conference record). If the Bills go 4-0 and the Pats 2-2 with the second loss against the Ravens, the Pats win the division (division record) If the Bills go 2-2 and the Pats 0-4, the Bills clinch the division (division record tiebreaker). If the Bills go 3-1 losing to the Jets and the Pats go 1-3 by beating either the Jets or Dolphins, the Pats win the division(division record). If the Bills go 3-1 losing to the Jets and the Pats go 1-3 by beating the Ravens, the Bills win the division (conference record). If the Bills go 3-1 losing to the Browns and the Pats go 1-3 beating the Jets or Dolphins, the Bills win the division (conference record). If the Bills go 3-1 losing to the Browns and the Pats go 1-3 beating the Ravens, the Bills win the division (division record). If the Bills go 3-1 losing to the Eagles and the Pats go 1-3 beating the Jets or Dolphins, the Bills win the division (common games). If the Bills go 3-1 losing to the Eagles and the Pats go 1-3 beating the Ravens, the Bills win the division (division record). Whew. I probably screwed up somewhere in there. That was a fun diversion.
  2. With a geriatric QB and a sieve for a defense. The Bengals scored 38+ in back to back games and lost them both. That hadn't happened since 1966.
  3. The Bengals were going to have plenty of time there if Buffalo failed to get the first down. Go for the win. Don't play scared.
  4. The Bills allowed 62 rushing yards. Between this week and last week, they've only allowed 120 rushing yards, after averaging 148.9 per game before last week. Granted, neither team are good rushing teams, but the 3.24 yards per rush they've given up over the last two weeks is lower than the worst team in the league (Raiders, 3.42 yards per rush)
  5. What an amazing half of football. Defense came in clutch, Allen came in clutch. Statement second half.
  6. Eh, he averages 2 TDs per game against Buffalo, but Josh has 5 offensive player of the week awards against Miami.
  7. 3 drives, 3 TDs, 7/7 3rd downs.
  8. 2 drives, 2 TDs allowed. 5/5 third down conversions allowed.
  9. He was OC but got demoted to tight ends coach after a season when a new head coach was hired.
  10. Also, Mularkey wasn't fired. He quit on the team and signed as Miami's OC.
  11. The Bills signed Brandin Cooks.
  12. Sean Payton should be banned from the NFL.
  13. It's possible. Looking at the numbers right now, they save $9.6 million by dropping him this offseason (~$17 million 2026 cap hit vs ~$7.4 million dead cap). I'm not sure what kind of salary-fu is required to make the numbers work to keep him.
  14. Hawes probably makes it easier to get rid of Knox and his bad contract.
  15. Allen now has TWO games with 3 passing and 3 rushing TDs. Every other player in NFL history combined: one, by Otto Graham
