  1. lol fair enough, probably for the best.
  2. At least 1/3 of people suck, and cities hold the most people. Not surprising.
  3. The Bills really hit on FA and the draft. They also have two phenomenal coordinators. Jury's still out on if the Sabres can do those things, but they might.
  4. Draft and develop
  5. For now, and it's not for a lack of trying. Well Trout would like a word, but your point of Manfred being inept and the MLB as a whole refusing to join this century in growing their brand fully stands.
  6. Nobody wanted McDermott. It's an offensive league and the likes of Shanahans and McVays were going around. Everyone took one look at McDermott and, frankly, thought his religion and raport with the Pegulas gave him the job. So, in that sense, maybe Adams and Granto will prove some people wrong, including myself. I hope so. I have much higher hopes for Granato than Adams though.
  7. PFF is good for some things and absolute trash for most. At this point I'm having a hard time believing they're not just in it for clicks
  8. Just one more reason to not trust PFF
  9. Almost doubled his production pace, no? Went from .24ppg to .44ppg
  10. Byslma has never gotten another HC job, neither has Housley. While I don't think the blame was 100% on them, they were/are C or B coaches at best.
  11. @josie is this your art?
  12. His clause was if they won the Cup, he got a two year extension and a raise. When it came down to it he wanted a 5 year extension and the Capitals said no. So it was money/term.
  13. Kind of...Washington simply wouldn't pay him.
  14. I think this is applicable to the NFL, and maybe NBA, but not really the NHL. Most/all NHL couches are/should be playing the same style of game
  15. Seems very undermining to Granato.
  16. Expansion draft is July 21st. I get and agree with what you're saying but man that is a tight window to make a deal with Jack.
  17. I'd imagine they just retain Ellis and Girardi. Yeah I'm sure they'll have their list and everything, but Eichel is just such a massive piece I don't think you can drop that on the organization too close to what will be a massively important draft for us.
  18. Now that this is over we can move on to Eichel. The draft is July 23rd. I would expect any Eichel deal to be within the next two weeks in order to give the draft staff at least a week to potentially work with whatever extra pick(s) we receive.
  19. Hopefully. That was well done.
  20. Well at least I called it in the other thread...may have backtracked on it but we'll ignore that part. Overall I'm alright with it. Likely means Eichel's gone, Granato seems to be a guy tailored for a younger team.
