  1. True. But offensively they got 1 goal while dominating and Tampa playing sub par. Even if Price had his A game they'd still lose
  2. That's the best Montreal can throw at Tampa, and they still lost.
  3. Openly rooting for Tampa, but you gotta love the game Montreal is playing tonight. It's what you want your team to look like every night.
  4. Fair enough There's too many names I'm sure I missed a lot haha
  5. “A real good source told me that as much as they love Jack Eichel and the idea of having him in their lineup, they’ve got Kane, they’ve got Toews, they’ve got DeBrincat, who’s not that far away from needing a new contract," Dreger said. "As we’ve learned from the Toronto Maple Leafs, you can’t have four forwards making that kind of money. So, even though there’s been speculation around the interest that the Blackhawks have in Eichel, and I know Chicago has talked to Eichel, they’re more interested in a Seth Jones or Dougie Hamilton. An elite-level defenseman.” The Anaheim Ducks have also been connected to Eichel, though they’re in the midst of a rebuilding process. For that reason, Dreger says Anaheim is balking at Buffalo’s asking price — possibly along with other clubs. “I don’t think Anaheim’s interest is as high as has been reported or speculated,” he said. “But the ask might have to come down for more clubs to truly engage.” https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/sabres/dreger-sabres-may-have-to-lower-asking-price-for-jack-eichel-for-more-clubs-to-truly-engage
  6. Was really hoping we'd keep Reinhart, that part is disappointing. Thanks @Buffalonill, much appreciated.
  7. I mean, I don't know how you want the prospect pool to be better outside of the draft.
  8. These are very contradictory sentiments
  9. He did an entire Q/A article on this, anything else from the article? I don't have the Athletic
  10. We'll never know, but as of Vogl's report then yeah I think so.
  11. Well they asked people to stay for the draft, that doesn't mean they will.
  12. Someone lock Terry in a broom closet for the draft. God ***** just pay the bills and let people do their jobs *Hopefully* this is leaked on purpose to help us, somehow. Or the information is simply false.
  13. Friedman in his 31 thoughts mentioned a team informed a bunch of staff they were being let go, but also asked them to stay on for the draft. I wonder if it's Florida. Either way, go get this guy.
  14. https://sports.yahoo.com/jonathan-toews-reveals-battle-with-chronic-immune-response-syndrome-150636576.html "Jonathan Toews revealed Wednesday morning in a video posted on Twitter, that he has been dealing with Chronic Immune Response Syndrome, a multi-symptom illness that can affect virtually any organ system in the body."
  15. If he can actually sustain that pace, for years, then yeah he's in a league of his own. Until then though there's Bonds, Trout, Rose...lot of names to contend with as the best player in over 100 yars.
  16. Keith and Seabrook I'll give you as far as being in the same league, but Doughty I'm sticking too. Hedman did take a discount, true. Karlsson and Burns were also old when they took their big deals though, they're best seasons behind them.
  17. Thanks. My laptop doesn't show the actual tweet, just a link for some reason. That is a great quote. If Granato does any singular thing to make me happy with his hiring it's allowing Dahlin to become what he can be. We all forget how highly touted/capable he is.
  18. Drew Doughty was 100% integral to the Kings runs. So were Seabrook and Keith to Chicago, and Hedman to Tampa.
  19. Haven't seen this, do you have it?
  20. Please don't pick Power Please don't pick Power Please don't pick Power
  21. Yup. Dennis seems to be of the opinion that the Kings can/should be in win now mode, and Byfield isn't the answer to that while Jack is.
  22. This guy sounds very confident the Kings are still in play, and should be. Byfield he believes should/is on the table.
