  1. Twitter is the same as anything in life, it has its uses and pitfalls. It's really not hard to avoid the crap on there, just sit some reporters twitter and wait until they report tweet something of interest. You don't need an account, you don't need to have a general feed of garbage, and you don't need to comment on anything. It's basically a running ticker of news if you use it right. Right exactly
  2. I mean I get that, but also at the same time it's not the Presidential election lol if anyone is discouraged from sharing their vote on here I'm honestly very surprised.
  3. I voted with my heart not my head. And I ashamed? A little. But I just can't bring myself to it. @nfreeman Can we make the pole results public?
  4. So he's still convinced it will happen then?
  5. Any thoughts on what we do with all this sweet, sweet dough?
  6. Better team won. Let the offseason begin.
  7. It falls right in line with all of the dates. Expansion deadline, draft, Finals being over, giving a week or so for Ventura and Granato to settle in and discuss with the team...been saying it myself, next week we'll get some answers.
  8. For the financial gurus out there...is there any negative to transferring savings from a federal credit union to this high yield savings account with Marcus? Seems like an easy way to increase my dividends on stationary money; too easy to the point where I'm hesitant. https://www.marcus.com/us/en/savings/high-yield-savings
  9. They've done very little to earn the benefit of the doubt.
  10. Idk how uncommon it is these days for the #1OA pick to not enter the NHL right away, but I'd bet it's pretty high. Is it the worst thing? Course not, just develop him right. But it's another sign of how weak this draft is compared to others IMO, and it also doesn't help the idea of keeping Eichel.
  11. It's been rumored Power is going back as well, and we saw the belief on Eklund returning to the SHL for one more year today also. Seems like no matter which way the Sabres pick, that prospect is going back somewhere for another year.
  12. Thanks. Do we know why he switched? Was it a case of him simply being the best player at a lower level, so they put him at C, and when he moved up they realized his skillset is better for W? i.e. Reinhart
  13. I don't have the Athletic subscription, but for anyone that does and is interested:
  14. Agreed. I like Eklund, but I'd rather have another solution to our C issue than moving him over from wing. Either we do have Eichel, and have a 1C, or we are getting a prospective 1C (hopefully) from trading him and don't have one. Regardless I'd like to keep Eklund where he has played; I understand it's not the same situation but it brings serious Leino flashbacks.
  15. Love it, Verstappen is my guy and Lando is great to watch. Anything that keeps Hamilton off the podium
  16. Sutherland Till I Die on Netflix accomplishes what you're looking for here
  17. How quickly we all forget Jack chugging a beer and exclaiming 'Buffalo, I'm coming for ya' He's been passionate here, especially against our rivals. Jack has always wanted to be here, any notion otherwise is just projecting our own insecurities of Because Buffalo onto the final results we're seeing.
