If it's good intentions, then it's not a tank Far as the message goes to the vets, it can't possibly be any worse than the messages we sent trading Watkins, Dareus, and everything else we did last offseason. We made the playoffs for the first time in 17 years despite everyone claiming a tank; I wouldn't worry about the messages we send We traded off all valuable assets this last season.
-
Eh I think there's more to a tank than that Tank: The act of purposefully losing a season to acquire as many high end assets as possible in the draft I think there needs to be some element of purposefully losing for it to be considered a tank
-
Agreed, we have a lot of holes. I'm more confident in filling those holes later in the draft or through FA than I am in getting a QB though. I also think that unless you have a QB, it's all useless (exceptions of course being a team like the championship Bucs, Ravens, and Eagles) I don't think McCarron is signaling a tank, I think we use that term too much honestly. I think it signals a new direction though Oddly enough McCarron has won his grievance today, and is a UFA http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/22456899/aj-mccarron-wins-grievance-cincinnati-bengals-unrestricted-free-agent

I wonder if people's drug consumption has increased https://news.vice.com/article/ungass-portugal-what-happened-after-decriminalization-drugs-weed-to-heroin

True, he was. I'm on the train of pick a QB every year. As far as where we pick, we have more than enough ammo to move up McCaron is what he is. I'd sign him on a 3 year deal for cheap. Worst case scenario he plays this year and is a backup the next. Best case, he tuns out to be something. Those odds may be 10/90, but depending on the price and what we need right now, I think he's a great fit Because it's luck Credit to True, he's been saying the QB process is luck for years now, and he's right. Figure I should give him some credit here, seeing as he's rarely correct

This has been the problem with the Bills and Bills fans for the entire drought. We're mad we can't win now, and we're mad we don't have a franchise QB. The drought is over, that angst should be gone. We're past playoff caliber, we need to be championship caliber. Brady and Favre mentors don't just grow on trees. Who did Wilson have mentoring him? Or Ben? Or Peyton? Wentz? Goff? Unless your mentor is a top 10 QB of all time, they're overrated Find some veteran, stick him in front of our rookie, and just pick a damn QB already. Personally I want McCaron. Probably not good enough to win, but you can get him cheap, he can play now in front of your rookie, and who knows, he might be something in case your rookie doesn't work

I just spilled my beer. It was a sour, Victory brand. Like $4 a bottle right there, and it was my last one Back to Keystones

No, it's not. We made the playoffs on our defense, not our offense. The number one priority of an offense is a quarterback. Tyrod is a known failure as a quarterback, holding onto him does us nothing Every single analyst, player, ex-player, and fan agrees with this
-
Can and probably will are entirely different, that was the entire point of my post Known failure vs unknown success, not exactly a tough decision
-
Because Tyrod is just a bad QB, regardless of whichever category you want to fit him in. I think what your post proved was, their are 5 QBs, and then everyone else. Unless you get pretty lucky and get a defense like the Broncos, Ravens, or Bucs, or you just have a complete team like the Eagles, odds are you aren't winning anything. Even dominate defenses like the Jags and complete teams like the Vikings routinely miss out. Those top 5 QBs though, they will always make the playoffs (well, 99% of the time). And once you make the playoffs, you have a shot. Dominate defenses and complete teams will not make the playoffs that often
-
Agreed. It's the same thing with the war on drugs. You think gang members are getting their guns at the local shop?

I'm beginning to think my job will never promote me. Been promised one for months now, meantime the guy I mentored got a promotion and is now above me

Rodgers has one, the same as Wilson And who cares about running quarter backs? Not all running quarterbacks are created equally Who cares about shorter quarterbacks? Not all shorter quarterbacks are created equally
-
You put one stat about how all of these guys are the best, and then when I say he's one of the best, you say yeah, but he's not the best of the best. Yeah, so he's not one of two of the best QBs ever in Manning and Brady, and he didn't have the defenses Ben and Eli had. How many rings does Rodgers have btw? Or pocket-passing Matt Ryan? How about pocket-passing Kyle Orton, or pocket-passing Rex Grossman?
-
That doesn't make them right though So the Seahawks are insanely successful and have a mobile QB. Why is that a bad thing
-
My man WGR keeps reporting from other sources that the Bills really want Rosen
-
He is nothing like Vince Young. Couldn't actually be further from Young, or Tyrod for that matter On a similar note, Manziel himself has come out and said Baker is nothing like him either

2 story > split > ranch > raised ranch Yup, that link is exactly what I was talking about. Well, kinda...didn't realize PA was that expensive either

Yeah my dad will need one eventually for medical reasons. Not putting it down, just saying they're not for me I've been looking at houses down south. They seem to be a lot less common

Houses cost more down south. Similar houses in Georgia from Rochester cost $100k more. Difference is, taxes are so much less in Georgia, you can afford it
