  1. They had a better record than I thought...am I alone in thinking the Wild need more than Jack? True. I like Rossi, but I would so much rather have Zegras/Byfield or just keep Jack to be honest.
  2. Said it in other threads but acquiring Eichel for them would be a bad move IMO now. They have $13-15M in dead cap the next 3 seasons where Jack would be in his prime and still have to pay other players. They're not a good team; they need more than just Eichel. I don't see how losing Rossi+ in exchange for Eichel helps them compete in the long term. They'd just be in no-mans land, going .500 every year without any depth.
  3. I'm sure there's pressure, but that's an awful solution. Better off going for Wright or just waiting for Rossi. The Wild have made the playoffs 7/10 seasons, we haven't.
  4. $7,538,462/year for the next 4 seasons.
  5. Exactly. How does getting Jack help your team when you have to empty the bank to get him, and you'll be cap hamstrung for the next 3 years in his prime? Just doesn't make sense to me.
  6. Even with Jack and Kaprizov they won't contend. Losing Rossi+ and with those buyout cap hits, they'd be screwed for the next few years at least.
  7. That is an interesting number...for me I just don't see why you'd take those kind of hits and remove your best prospects/picks to pick up Jack. That just leaves you in no-mans land IMO
  8. Take Minnesota out of the Eichel conversations with those Parise and Suter buyouts.
  9. Those buyouts are absurd. Left is Parise, right is Suter. Forgot they got the same contract (I believe) so yeah their buyouts are the same.
  10. Rask it old and needs hip surgery, Rinne has sucked for awhile and just retired, Dubnyk has sucked for awhile and is older, and Anderson sucked last year...so yeah.
  11. Also, I doubt Seattle swings for the fences on their first draft. Power seems like the safe(r) bet
  12. "They're not in cap trouble, but I think they would like to be in a position somehow to alleviate a little bit of that cap pressure to allow them to make some other moves," Pagnotta said. "So I think there has been a discussion with Seattle with respect to Kyle Okposo. I don't know if it's gotten anywhere, but I know that there's been some type of discussion from the perspective."
  13. I think you're far from alone in that belief. I'd put it at 50/50 really.
  14. Gotta love his answer to what he would eat for the rest of his life if he only could chose one meal
  15. Well, that sucks. Screw it, keep him then.
  16. ESPN is a shell of its former self. I'll be amazed if they can pull off a competent broadcasting crew/coverage. They ***** suck now
