  1. Rosen is a smart guy
  2. Well McCarron costs a lot less.
  3. So he's a 'nice guy'. i.e. I treat a girl with superficial respect so therefore she should sleep with me. If not, she's a slut
  4. No idea. He should have. As it stands right now, he's a dead man walking
  5. @evansilva Hue Jackson, the 1-31 coach of the #Browns, has multiple mouthpieces in the media & can't be trusted by his own GM. You can't make this stuff up. https://twitter.com/joshnorris/status/988753855360970752?s=21…
  6. I would still consider those acts of terror though. I don't believe in any of those cases it was the result of someone just wanting to kill people; there was some sort of social factor behind it
  7. When's the last time a mass killing wasn't an act of terrorism though? As in, in Flagg's example, that's a serial killer choosing individual victims based on situational dependencies. I think anytime you have a mass murder, it's politically/ideologically motivated somehow, and therefore an act of terrorism.
  8. Trent Dilfer on WGR talking about QBs and Dabol http://www.wgr550.com/media/audio-channel/04-24-trent-dilfer-nfl-network-howard-and-jeremy
  9. They didn't win the Super Bowl. /argument
  10. Easily
  11. I honestly don't care about the price. I'd give them the keys to the city if they really wanted it
  12. Even hell won't take that garbage
  13. Separate but I'm with most of you here. Bledsoe is the only real one that comes to mind Far as Bradford goes, this is hilarious and spot on. Chiarelli, Bergevin, Bradford...sure there's more but those 3 continuously doing just what you said is just incredible to me It's the concussions that worry me
  14. Yeah that's kind of what we do here...
  15. Hey don't drag me into this
  16. Later than 2nd round pick? What are the odds of that for any team? TSN did a study that has that rate at 30% https://www.tsn.ca/playing-the-percentages-in-the-nhl-draft-1.206144 They then did another study showing that even if you are that 30%, it's an 86% chance that any 3rd round pick is a 4th liner or worse https://www.tsn.ca/statistically-speaking-nhl-draft-pick-value-1.786131 Sorry but I can't rag on Fletcher for not hitting those later round picks, especially as he's been hitting on the 1st rounders he does have. Fletcher since he became the Wild's GM in 2009 Leddy (16) Granlund (9) Brodin(10) Zach Phillips (28) Dumba (7) Tuch (7) Eriksson (20) Kunin (15) So going through that list, it's not as great as I thought it was, admittedly. He does seem probably an average GM with maybe a solid scouting ability; kinda like Murray
  17. Well yeah but the they hit on the draft picks they have so they were able to trade away those picks. My point really is I trust Fletcher in drafting. Maybe not in putting a team together, but he has a good eye for young talent
  18. Isn't that because guys like Dumba and Granlund ended up working out though?
  19. For those who don't recognize the name, it's the Wild's GM Not too surprising. He's a good GM who made some bad moves in his first go at it but really had a strong roster consistently in contention. He drafted very well too. Wonder where he goes The Wild are officially a mess now. Can't wait for this collapse
  20. I don't think that report accurately reflects trading up for a QB
  21. Screw the sports gods and their ill will. I'm about to start a GDT for next year with Dahlin and Tavares in the lineup at this point
  22. At this point I'm over the first round. All of these matchups have been pretty boring, outside of the Caps-Jackets. I just want Round 2 already. Nashville-Winnipeg and Boston-Tampa are legitimate Cup Finals matchups. I wish they were at least the Conference Finals series, but eh at least they're happening
