Alain Vigneault is a better HC than Trotz, IMO I don't think we'd get slammed in the media as much as slammed within the hockey world. Players, GM's, other teams are going to look at us like a clown show

The opportunity to hire better coaches than Trotz has existed before today. It's not how good the coach is, it's the uncertainty and disbelief in our own guy, who we had a very extensive process for, after 1 year. It would make our entire hiring and evaluation process laughable, and make our judgement and commitment to anything suspect at best
