  1. At that price it is Well, time to revisit an old friend...
  2. You could not have picked a weirder collection of people
  3. Well and the other thing is it's not about who's picked at 3rd, it's really about who's picked at/after 3rd.
  4. At least with that you can flip it. Plus we would have an incredible young core of Dahlin Eichel Reinhart #3 and Mittelstadt
  5. Where were you that you had a chance to speak with him?
  6. Darryl Sutter announces his retirement from NHL coaching https://www.nhl.com/news/darryl-sutter-retires-as-nhl-coach/c-299135284
  7. Who else is going to burn the trash and get that nice smokey smell we like?
  8. How come? I'm of the opinion you should take one every draft. Like a QB
  9. I like you're 2 and 3 trade ideas a lot. Not big on Zadina but then again, I'm not the draft expert
  10. For shits and giggles, who do you take at 3OA? Assuming Svechnikov is taken. Whalstrome? Zadina? Or do you trade that pick for a young established player on another team?
  11. Beauty, I'll take it! I think nationally I'm still a little underpaid, but with another 3-5% increase for my end of the year, I'll be at the number I wanted to at this point when I took the job, so I'm happy
  12. Got my raise, 15% increase. Seems good. Is that good?
  13. I counter with Robin Lehner. He'll fit nicely in Philly's history
  14. I mean, he definitely is. It's a shame Montreal somehow didn't win the McDaniel sweepstakes
  15. Isn't Sanheim really good? I thought that last one was a good deal; love me some Wayne Simmonds
  16. Auston Watson arrested for domestic violence http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/23851477/austin-watson-nashville-predators-charged-domestic-violence
  17. Coaches who are able to groom and grow their talent are what impress me. Quennenville took quite a few young players and made them better in his system and dominated, they played the right way. Byslma had 2 superstars and got dominated in his 1 Cup Final win and 2 Cup Finals appearances. He was lucky to win his Cup, Chicago never was Babcock, same thing. He took a lot of young talent in Detroit and made it into something
  18. I mean he racked up 3 Cups and a more Conference Finals appearances too. Little different
  19. Same. We hear again and again Bots wants speed. Where exactly does Vanek fit into that? Even when he was younger he was never considered fast
  20. Underappreciated post. Well played Not unless Svechnikov is there. Though I like Wahlstrome a lot too
  21. Right? I feel like this is all just because he finally got over the hump and won a Cup. He was this close to losing early in the playoffs, again, and the fact that he finally didn't, all of the sudden people are clamoring for him? Just a ton of recency bias
  22. Ruff is 6th all time Babcock is 10th Trotz is 5th
