It takes 20m to compile almost anything I do. I have a lot of downtime And two monitors

He got lucky on the 1st. His guaranteed return was a 5/10 prospect and a 4th. Not great The picture this paints is absolutely hilarious
-
So in the exact opposite scenario his return still sucks despite all the options and leverage in the world
-
Anyone wanna now say that Botterill got fleeced on that SJ deal with Kane?
-
Don't call us the Bronx Bombers for nothing
-
1) I agree with Scandella and Rochester 2) The Lehner decision was beyond easy. A 4th grader knew that was the right move 3) Again, an unbelievably easy decision. Major changes are evident when a team finishes last for the 3rd time in 5 years. It's how he decided to execute those changes that bothers me

@ByMHarrington Conference call with Tage Thompson...He says he's happy to get an NHL chance and not be "pigeon-holed" like he was in St. Louis, a veteran team that couldn't tolerate mistakes. Of #Sabres: "They really have big plans for me here to play a lot and put up points.
-
I have a feeling they were. Watching Jack the last two years, I wouldn't be surprised at all
-
Curious how you know this
-
Well then there's no point to discussing anything other than being apathetic towards everything until 5 years from now Do you feel confident in at all in anything he's done outside of Dahlin and Mittelstadt? Our best prospects in Rochester this year are all a result of Murray. Every move Botterill has made has been about adding JAG after JAG after JAG.
-
@Matt_Bove Thompson said the #Sabres told him they have big plans for him @WKBW @Matt_Bove Tage Thompson says he wants to get stronger. Says he's a big power forward with a knack for making plays. Said he has a shoot mentality #Sabres @GregVorse #Sabres Thompson on being with younger team “I’m really excited.... I think it is a good fit for me, it’s a young team.” added “look to go out have fun, make mistakes, learn, and win” It doesn't encourage me that the only top line talent Botterill has found thus far are two very obvious draft picks (Mittelstadt and Dahlin) whereas every other pick, prospect, or trade he's had has resulted in meh talent at best @Matt_Bove "I think I play better when there is more pressure and I'm relied on more" - Tage Thompson Says he's excited to be a guy the #Sabres rely on to produce @WKBW I have a strong feeling you're going to see Tage Thompson in our top 6 this year
-
Does anyone really have any faith in those two prospects being anything more than 3rd liners?
-
Tage Thompson and Danny O'Reagan are the two prospects Botterill got for Evander Kane and Ryan O'Reilly. That is...something Let's not act like how much someone makes or that they even have a job in particular fields really means they know what they're doing
-
And who are you going to get to replace him?
-
I just don't think continuously turning over managers and front offices is a good idea.
-
I'd give him the full year for sure. I don't give him a free pass no matter what, but I don't think firing him has anything to do with a lack of guts or anything.
-
It takes guts to panic and pull the trigger after a short period of time, in a year where he clearly (thus far) has shown he has no intentions of going for it?

What does Botterill do with 3 2019 1st round picks?
WildCard replied to WildCard's topic in The Aud Club
Well from what I've read Melnyk is solely interested in making that team as lucrative as possible to sell. He's waiting on some development project to finish two years from now, at which point he wants to sell the team. Supposedly that means he wants no bad contracts or money tied to the team whatsoever, to make the sale as profitable as possible. So, Ottawa is 100% a team that would be looking to just stockpile draft picks in exchange for ditching talent that has contracts solely because the owner doesn't care about anything other than how to make the team as cost of running as low as possible in 2 years -

I want speed and offense though, not more slow guys that can contain someone else and not really do anything extraordinary offensively -

Why? His regular and advanced stats are awful -
Whelp, forgot about that

Ah my mistake. Yeah I actually really like Tallon. I give him the credit over Bowman for Chicago's success
