Believe it or not, but yes. I have noticed that every player we've acquired so far has had a huge emphasis on even strength play. Botteril constantly brings this up too

I still hate Thompson on that top line, but that's probably what it should look like. Though with Housley, I'd bet a lot that Thompson and Okposo are switched, and so are Skinner and Sheary For your second point, I don't think Botterill is done.

Reasons I started this thread: Kessel and Skinner, both scoring. sniping wingers. Similar skill sets Both were expected to carry their teams as such, with poor centers. Both went somewhere where they weren't the focal point, with much, much better centers. We saw how that worked with Kessel. Kessel to Pittsburgh, Botteril from Pittsburgh, Skinner to Buffalo. Pretty sure Botteril remembers how well Kessel worked/is working in Pittsburgh, and tried to replicate it

Still amazed we didn't have to part with any of our 3 2019 1sts to make this happen. Then again, Waddell is the old Thrashers GM, so maybe we shouldn't be too shocked. The confusing thing is, this trade doesn't make any sense with their Hamilton trade. Seems like they went the opposite way on this one
