@vorkywh24 Viktor Antipin´s father: @BuffaloSabres offered a new deal to Viktor, but he used to play for championship (with @MetallurgMgn in #KHL), not for 29th place in #NHL. So, he came back to Magnitka. #Sabres

Teams play better in front of better goalies, it's that simple.
-
I mean Murray led them to two Cups the years before with a .923 and a .937 sv%, this year he had a down year with a .908. Meanwhile Fleury's play took an absolute nosedive as soon as the Cup Finals were reached; his poor playoff play isn't something new for him either https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/analyzing-fleurys-performance-stalled-stanley-cup-final/ Well yeah, a goalie who's respected is better than one that isn't. I don't necessarily think that it's a must have in a goalie though, nor do I think that a goalie being respected is more important than any other important player being respected

They were a 100pt team that got bounced in the playoffs by the SC winning team in the year they were going for their 3rd Cup in a row. I don't think the Penguins missed MaF at all

Where are they doing this? I keep hearing kids in the background

Hey I just said hockey, not necessarily Sabres hockey ?

Would you rather have won the SC in 2005 or 2006?
WildCard replied to WildCard's topic in The Aud Club
And 2005-2006 had the best game I've ever seen -
So I was thinking about this today: If you could give up one championship from one of our teams for another, which would it be? Immediately I'd give up a Yankees WS for...then I had to think about it. Do I take the 2006-2007 SC, or the 2005-2006 one? 2006 was our year. We were by far and away the best team in the league. We had brand new jerseys (sure they sucked but whatever), we started off the season chasing the Montreal record for wins to start a year...we were just so dominate. This was the year of the Senators line brawl, this was the year we brought back the royal blues for the 3rd jersey, this was the year Drury ties it against the Rangers in the dying seconds, and Afinogenov slides his way across center ice after the game winner. We should have won the Cup that year, that was our year. But, 2005...I mean, what can you say? Team comes out of nowhere after the lockout with a rag tag group of young guns and goes on a cinderella story ride? That was the year of 'Danny Brier! Danny Brier!', of 'Campbell stepped into his man at the blue line, and now they're all chasing after Campbell!', and of course of 'Now do you believe?! Now do you believe?! These guys are good, scary good!'. We beat our rivals in the playoffs in their house, and then got absolutely screwed against a relocation team by a staph infection. Cinderella went home and and lived the rest of her years in a shed Personally, for me, I'll take that 2005 Cup any day.

Dorion and very fast

Mean I guess I'll be that guy but I know quite a few people that think Richie is a real POS, even some posters on here

Thanks. I read the wiki, how does he get accused and then acquitted of kidnapping? That seems like one of those crimes that's pretty black and white Gerg Williams and Hugh Jackson are jokes. Well, more Jackson than Greg. Throw in Todd Hayley, that s$hole Jarvis Landry, a 1st overall QB doing underwear modeling, and an 0-16 season, and the Browns are a freaking sht show

The Incognito story gets stranger by the minute. Apparently he demanded they cut off his dad's head for research purposes, and then proceeded to become very violent and threaten people with the 5 guns he did indeed (legally) have in his car https://nypost.com/2018/08/21/richie-incognito-wanted-dead-dads-head-cut-off-before-arrest/

Saw this on reddit today: This upcoming season will mark the halfway point of Zach Parise and Ryan Suters' 13 year contracts. Parise (34) and Suter (33) each carry a $7.5M cap hit for the next 7 years @ian_mendes BREAKING: Senators announce that assistant GM Randy Lee has resigned. Club announces a search for his replacement is underway.

If we were going to get Faulk we would have done it in the blockbuster we already did with Carolina for Skinner That said I'm not interested. I like the build of our team right now.

@ProFootballTalk According to Scottsdale, Arizona police, Richie Incognito has been arrested and is facing counts of disorderly conduct and threats. More to come at PFT. @MySportsUpdate Former #Bills G Richie Incognito was arrested in Arizona after he randomly started to yell at people at his father's funeral, per TMZ. He's facing counts of disorderly conduct and threats.

Like with most things in sports there are plenty of cases to prove anything, it's the liklihood (think I spelled that right) of it that has me concerned

@buffalobills Josh Allen has been named the starting QB for Sunday’s game against the Bengals. #CINvsBUF

I was wondering more about the refusal to watch kids play a sport

Why?

He threw an interception in the final minutes of the game and the best kicker of all time miraculously missed a field goal from the same spot he had just made one on the drive before
