  1. It really depends on the team giving up that pick. In this hypothetical scenario, the Sabres giving up their pick, unprotected, for an Eichel level player is insanity. The Wild on the other hand, is a much safer bet.
  2. In a heartbeat. You can throw Skinner over Okposo and I still take that deal.
  3. Liger's post has the pick as protected. I don't think anyone is doubting how high our unprotected first can be.
  4. Still too many question marks. I need Cozens as the main piece.
  5. Same. That's 3 big question marks and Olofsson. We need a very sure thing in a prospect coming back.
  6. If Jack wanted out that badly he would drop his surgery demand. That would help a lot of teams.
  7. Wild make fire, Wild smack rock 😉 I mean, that's the only thing he *might* have. And I'm still not sure he was the first to have it. He also posted this, only one I've seen so far:
  8. This might be a big factor in the LAK for Eichel: Then there's this, apparently 4 years for Suter is indeed true:
  9. Let's see if this guy is full of ***** or not, once and for all:
  10. Obviously not the end of the world, but people Power says reached out to him once the Sabres drafted him: Miller, Okposo, Cozens, Jack Quinn.
  11. WGR (Instigators) on their first interview with Owen Power: What kind of underwear do you wear? Do you do your own laundry?
  12. Drouin and Strome...*looks at Kent Johnson* Yeah, he's definitely gonna work out
  13. "According to CapFriendly.com, the Sabres' other restricted free agents were projected to receive the following qualifying offers: defensemen Rasmus Dahlin ($874,125), Henri Jokiharju ($874,125) and Casey Fitzgerald ($874,125); and forwards Rasmus Asplund ($874,125) and Casey Mittelstadt ($917,831)." https://buffalonews.com/sports/sabres/rasmus-dahlin-henri-jokiharju-among-sabres-rfas-to-receive-qualifying-offer/article_ed04c8c0-ee1c-11eb-867a-ff7f575e91b5.html
  14. If that's true, which I'm not sure it is, then it sounds a lot more like Pegulas are selling the team. Owners that sell teams always move the biggest contracts they have away from the team to make it more attractive to potential buyers. Well yeah, nobody wants a Skinner contract coming back.
  15. Nobody is saying retain anything. We're saying give us Minnesota contracts that add to $10m that come off in the next year or so. Cap dump onto the Sabres from the Wild
  16. Just take the $10 freaking million back then.
  17. Lot of hate early on in this thread for the Johnson pick being a reach, how's that looking two years later? (genuine question)
