  1. Teams get in trouble for both, it's just that you can more easily and readily identify the latter situations. You still need depth and talent across the board to win in the NHL, something we learned the hard way last year
  2. 7 years is fine. Is it ideal? No. Is he going to be as good at 34? No. Is he going to become Moulson and completely useless? No @SabresStats Jeff Skinner is tied for 6th in the NHL with 5 even strength goals this season. #Sabres
  3. At one point last night Tampa had outshot Chicago 34-6...in the 2nd period https://www.naturalstattrick.com/game.php?season=20182019&game=20116&view=limited Edit: @JoeSmithTB #tblightning with a video-game like, NHL record-setting second period, firing 34 shots on goal, now up 4-1 entering third.
  4. Todd Gurley has more points than the Bills do this season Andrew Luck threw for more touchdowns yesterday than the Bills have all year long
  5. I would rather have Housley until a Quennenville comes along than hiring a series of Byslma and Nolans
  6. Because of what I said in the latter half of that post. You're just going to repeat the same process again with a new coach; constant turnover is terrible for a team
  7. Watched the game at a bar. Absolutely huge win. Great to go positive on the west coast trip against some really tough teams. Also a great sign to finally win a close game, not to mention coming back from down two.
  8. Honestly man this interaction only happens with you, and it happens every single time. JJ enters and says something Poster responds JJ says this is why he never posts and why no new members join Posters respond And the thread turns into a sht show Wash. Rinse. Repeat. At this point it's like predicting the weather
  9. To be fair we're getting close to upgrading from atrocious to just poor with Jack. And I can live with poor
  10. Right but I didn't say that. Hutton is the vet and there's a reason he's the starter. Is Ullmark playing better right now? I mean he's played Arizona and the Kings, two bottom feeders, while Hutton got SJ and Vegas, two legit Stanley Cup contenders
  11. Not sure that exactly goes hand in hand. Hutton was brought in here to be the starter and has a lot more experience than Ullmark.
  12. https://mobile.twitter.com/PR_NHL/status/1053760712768712709 Pommers becomes the 3rd player from the 2001 draft with 700 points, joining Kovalchuk and Spezza
  13. Rinne placed on IR by the Preds Bouwmeester a healthy scratch tonight for the first time in his career
  14. Here's the ref catching the flying stick today. Pretty awesome actually https://streamable.com/zqrjo
  15. Of course he does. And any successful, respectable, professional organization would leave him down there to develop. Only a clown one that's impatient and desperate would call him up too soon and ruin him
  16. Ah gotcha. Not a fan of it either but it makes sense Huh?
  17. Must've missed something, but what's the attitude you're referring to?
  18. That's what I remember as well because I really was pulling for him to be Jack's linemate
  19. Son of a btch ? How is Skinner not the #1 star lol
  20. Right, and we are. The next step is the AHL. It is not the NHL. And I don't remember anything about him almost making the team out of camp
