He's also finally moving his feet, and has Jeff Skinner, so that helps I find it interesting he trained with Adam Oates over the summer, and Oates is very outspoken in saying the biggest thing an NHL player can improve on, and what can be a career changer, is your hands. Shorter stick -> better hands

Thing is, he's shooting more. He needs to shoot from better locations; he used to drive to the middle of the ice and shoot from the slot. Seems like most of his shots these days are coming from the circles *calls on Flagg for a heat map*

He's at 16 gp, 4-15-19 pts, for a pace of 98 points this season. He has 15 assists already, his previous career high was 39 in 67 gp, so .58 / game. Right now he's at .94 / game. So, how do you feel about him? Is he finally come around to what we can expect; the playmaker instead of the scorer? Is it Jeff Skinner, is it Eichel, or is it the team as a whole? How do you feel about the C so far, and his effort on and off the ice?

His shots/game is actually slight up from his previous years. Though I imagine that has a lot more to do with the team totals and opportunities than anything else.
