  1. Who are either of them trying to prevent paying? Idk who that would be. It sounds like a Mickey Mouse org with young, good talent that they can't afford. So I'm guessing Florida, Carolina, or Colorado
  2. This was the first regulation win we've had since Philly on November 21st
  3. At this point I'm pretty confident with who we are. We are a 90+ point team with with poor scoring depth, a very active and solid defense, great goaltending, and a stellar 1st line. And I'm pretty freaking happy with that
  4. Cabs from an airport. Insanely expensive, and not a one of them ever knows even the most simple destination request. Why am I, not from this city, telling you where to turn? Absolutely unreal
  5. Start looking at other jobs higher than where you are. The postings will tell you the qualifications, and you can start working towards those, either through work or in your spare time.
  6. Pretty set on seeing some else eat poop. Gonna go ahead and let that one slide
  7. And I think it's good for them to get punched in the mouth. Team's need to learn how to handle tough times; what habits and routines can you get into and stick to to get yourself out of a rut
  8. You're never going to find a smoking gun in a situation like this. We can only go with what we have, and to me that points to O'Reilly being an issue for a team
  9. What does enjoying Russian lit have to do with hockey lol
  10. Absurdly good article on Eichel with gifs and quotes about his season so far
  11. I was looking at the 2006-2007 team and we had 6 20g scorers; Hecht had 19 too. Right now, looking at our roster, we have 4 guys that can hit that: Eichel has 10, Skinner has 21, Reinhart has 8, and Pominville has 9 So, who hits 20? Is having so few 20g scorers normal these days?
  12. Buy cheap on Parayko? I doubt they move Thomas or Kyrou, and Parayko is having a rough year
  13. New markets I get. But I highly doubt Carolina and Florida are pulling in more revenue than a 2nd Toronto team would. That 2nd team would sell out every game, not to mention all of the TV time they would get in Canada, and merchandise you would get. It's the 3rd largest city in NA, outside of the Leafs not wanting it like NS said, it makes no sense not to put another team there He's a good scout. He's just a bad GM
  14. Yeah I know the reasons why, I just think they're absurd. Carolina and Florida should be relocated to Montreal and Toronto.
  15. Speaking of two teams, the fact that Toronto and Montreal don't have 2 teams each makes me so mad
  16. I can't find it but someone just posted the list of 1st lines on teams and their scoring. Spittin Chiclets was interviewing someone the other week and they said a lot around hockey believe you should just have super lines now. It's better to just throw all your top talent together and watch them put up 3g/game then to spread them out and hope they get 1g
  17. Good. With our prospect state, potential contracts coming up, and expansion draft, those three 1sts could be insanely valuable for us
  18. Not sure it's just hockey players. I don't think any athlete pays attention to their advanced stats. It bogs them down with useless information and they become too focused on a minor part of their game to better their stats. https://www.tsn.ca/why-nhlers-hate-analytics-1.862980 It was TSN actually. I remembered it because Eichel was in there
