More familiar than in the 70s, sure. But the East Coast still dominates; the modern fan on the east coast doesn't pay nearly as much attention to the west coast teams as vice-versa. Conferences have to be a thing IMO
Playoff hockey, besides the seeding, is by far the best playoff format in sports. 4 seven game series? A 2 month long gauntlet for the most revered trophy in sports? It's amazing
There's a few of them. In the short term view of winning the game you're currently playing, it can be momentum swings. In the long term view of your season, it can bring your team closer together and it can send a message to other teams around the league.
I mean we both know that's not the end goal of fighting. And Wilson, for all the crap he gets, is an important player to that team. It's not John Scott running around out there
I don't disagree. It's a matter of finding them I suppose. Plus, if Housley is determined to have a shutdown line, like he has shown so far, and it works, like it has this season, I would expect them back
Would it though? He has 4 points in 23gp and his advanced stats aren't great either. CJ Smith can easily play better
probably 9M+. 8M+ at the very least
I mean Thompson still sucks
But the Blues suck too
Then again, Sobotka sucks
On the other hand, the Sabres are really good
But, O'Reilly is also really good
Though he may be a cancer too
So I'm gonna go with...maybe?
Was he not playing with Eichel last night? It wouldn't really surprise me. If he wasn't though I'd be curious to see who he was playing against, and with
Also, anyone find it weird there's no practice today?
Mitts maybe but Dahlin is legitimately playing better than some team's top pairing defensman. I'm not going to neuter our phenom, I'll take the gaffs
And he should be focusing them on their personal development. 1000%
