  1. I don't hate it, but True pointed out AV really, really relies on counter-attacks and goal tending, which I want no part of Give me the Keefe man
  2. Good points I want a guy that can create offensive opportunities from somewhere other than the freaking point. Bylsma relied on dump and chase so we never had the puck. Housley relies on a high amount of low percentage chances so we became predictable and the bounces stopped going our way. Can we get some coach in here that A) Carry the puck in B) Cycle it around and take it to the slot Why is that so hard? I see all of these other teams with great passes and opportunities in the slot, and I haven't seen us do that since 2011
  3. Things change pretty fast. If you don't take a second to look around you may just miss it - Ferris Bueller -- WildCard
  4. Those are some absurd stats to be honest
  5. Jeff's. It's almost the offseason, and we're gonna be talking a lot about the Bills soon enough. I need that pyscho back
  6. I get to play with Reinhart, which makes my game way easier.
  7. I should have specified, I was comparing rookie seasons
  8. Dad's a big Braves fan, never been to a game and he really doesn't travel a lot, so my brother and I are dragging him to Atlanta in May to catch a home game. He was hesitant at first but he's really excited for it now. Feels good
  9. Fair enough, and that's a good point. Did CJ Smith outscore Olofsson because of his experience, or because of his skill level though? Looking briefly at their careers, it appears Olofsson has had a much better rookie year in the AHL than Smith had, both at age 23 is appears (Olofsson 60pts in 64gp, Smith 44pts in 57gp) Granted like you said, that's not ES though, and I would bet a solid amount of Olofsson's points come off the PP
  10. Skinner on one side, Olofsson on the other. Reinhart gets to go control his own line, which he should have been doing all season anyways Skinner cleans up garbage around the net anyways, or fires rebounds. Olofsson generates a lot of those, he even got an assist on one on Eichel's goal yesterday. I don't think Skinner would mind at all a guy who would create a ton of chaos around the slot/goal
  11. As in, his position on the ice, or position on this team?
  12. Right now or when? At the beginning of this season I 100% would trade Thompson for Olofsson
  13. So Thompson's probability of becoming an actual NHL player have diminished, and Olofsson's have risen. Is that correct? I'm a little weary of this then. Because, if I'm reading this right, it's saying Thompson had a much higher likelihood of becoming a mainstay NHL'er before the season started than Olofsson did. I mean, that makes sense in that Olofsson had never played in NA before and Thompson had previously played/was playing in the NHL, but really anyone that watched/followed them could see Thompson was a lost cause and Olofsson maybe had a shot
  14. You better come to the next meetup We're afraid of flying
  15. We need a new coach, that's for sure. But True is right. There are criticisms about coach Q too. Give me Sheldon Keefe
  16. Fair enough. And it's a good post. We're not challenged though so quit the bullsht with making a sentence bold and hop off your high horse. You're not somehow the smartest person to ever post on here
