  1. Saturday March 21st, 2pm vs Chicago, looks like that's our game for the 4th Annual SS Meetup
  2. If you already have your foundation in piece you don't need a Marner though, you need 3-4 roster guys to roll more than one line
  3. Well that's on top of the $8M Sam's base salary would already have to have been, and the 2 first rounders you already spent on acquiring him $12M + four firsts = 1 Sam Reinhart at 70 points + 3 other 1st round picks, which can translate to roster players in trades or just drafting them.
  4. But so is $12M + four 1st rounders vs $8M + two 1st rounders
  5. I don't know about way better. And at some point you have to consider what his cost is, financially and asset wise
  6. Also, instead of using 4 1st rounders and 12M+ on Marner, why not just use two of those and trade some team for a young player instead
  7. Imagine going from Barrie to Myers. Woof
  8. Imagine giving a 29 year old Tyler Myers 7x8M ?
  9. If so cross Vancouver off of the Risto/Barrie list
  10. Honestly amazed it's 'milquetoast' and not 'milktoast'
  11. But we can afford to overspend on our middle 6 right now, yes?
  12. I mean they put up some really solid numbers with garbage average time on ice. I'd love to overpay for those guys for that contract length; they'll be in their early 30s at the end of it
  13. Joonas DonskoiRyan DzingelBrett ConnollyBrandon Tanev 100% yes, especially those first two
  14. Really good breakdown with video examples
  15. Who could we possibly have wanted so badly that went higher? Byram or Turcotte? Alos, kinda shtty thing to hear if you're Cozenes There have been tons of trades in past drafts, just not this one
  16. Dude can skate as a defensemen, sign me up
  17. The most recent Leafs offering, I believe, was $11M/8 years for Marner, which he rejected because of term. There is no way he takes the money Nylander took
  18. Pm me that thing I'm way too curious
