I don't think anybody is giving up on the kid but bottom line he wasn't and probably still isn't ready for life in the NHL. In the last 5 months he has been disciplined for being overweight and now for vacation issues. He will most likely end up being fine but I think it just shows that some of these guys are still just kids. It is an unbelievable amount of responsibility they have on their shoulders.

Roughly 650 players in the league. Not sure exactly how many but I am guessing less than 5 were suspended by their team this year - for whatever reason. The guy is one of the players we are counting on post tank. I think to me it is a big deal because I am just so fed up with this shitshow. One thing after another.

I think we are assuming this was the message. The message should be this guy was given no slack for a reason. That should be concerning.

Flights being cancelled due to a storm is no different than Kaleta being stuck in a snowstorm. If you don't suspend Kaleta because of mother nature then you shouldn't suspend Zadarov.

He just had a week off. He couldn't manage to get back in time. This isn't missing a meeting because the alarm didn't go off.

How is it nothing? The kid has discipline issues. First, he allows himself to come to camp a lardass and now this. He obviously has maturity issues and is irresponsible. Probably why they wanted him back in juniors in the first place.

You can thank the tank for some of what is happening right now. These guys have packed it in. No excuse for a professional to get suspended but what you are seeing in guys like Risto, Gorges, Moulson, etc is guys playing with no passion. Getting pounded night in and night out can't be much fun. Zadarov went on break and most likely dreaded coming back to the team for more ass whoopins. This is not a healthy environment. No matter how we spin it.

If I am Murray I push for '16 firsts rather than settling for a 2nd this year. I don't care what the charts say about a 2nd this year is the same as the 1st next year. With our situation we can afford to wait a year for a first. You have to figure any team dealing for Stewart/Stafford is going to be a late pick anyhow. Take the '16 first and with the way the league has yearly turnover you never know what you could end up with.

I want them to be as bad as possible. Not just because of the reward but I want it to be the low point in this teams history. Then I want them to get together and say "this can never happen again". No more excuses. No more free passes because of the TANK. Pro or anti -tank nobody wants to go through this again. We will have plenty more bumps along the way but after the last game loosing can no longer be acceptable within this organization.
