I don't buy the devaluing thing. A first is a first. That is like saying that last year when we were accumulating firsts for Miller and Vanek that in reality they had the value of a second because we had to wait a year. That is crazy. I get the waiting a year longer to get in the system and develop crap but first round talent is first round talent. And second is second. So I don't get that logic.

The fact that he finds Stafford more valuable than Stewart is all you need to know that his projections are useless. Stewart will bring a first. He is playing well and many teams are looking at him. Probably be a '16 though. Stafford could bring a first if we include a 3rd or mid-level prospect. This might be the first "i wasn't expecting that" deal from Murray.

Kind of confusing I guess. In an earlier post someone mentioned that Larsson could get waived. I was in a round about way saying that with Grigs, Larsson, and Pysyk that waivers will not factor into the equation. With all the slugs on this roster none of those 3 are at risk to get waived.

Well put. This is what pisses me off most. I am 45 and been to hundreds of games. When i was younger my parents divorced when I was 7. Back then they played a lot of Sunday games. That was my Dad and my day. He took me to as many games as possible. Of course, when you have your own kids you follow certain traditions that you were brought up with. All my kids were born in Florida. When they were younger their rooms were filled with Sabres stuff. As time has gone by and years of hockey that only a die hard would watch they have grown totally disinterested. No longer is going to a Lightning/Sabres game the next best thing after Xmas and a birthday. As a Dad I miss that more than any win or loss. So this organization can take their tank and ram it up their ass.

Give it at least until everyone has played 60. We just gained 14 pts on Edmonton in January so who knows what could happen. Highly unlikely but a lot of bad hockey left.

The YMCA I workout at is littered with New Englanders. To a man they will pretty much tell you the Bruins are 4th in the pecking order.

As an organization I do not feel we have ever been further from a Cup. We have maybe 6-8 current players that are legit NHL players. We have maybe 5 in Rochester that have a possible NHL career. We then have a prospect pool that is deep but not exactly littered with sure things. So I stand by my statement. Even the team that was on the ice fir the Miller incident was closer. They could have made some moves to get rid of the cancerous players and replace them with established players. They could have fired DR at that time and let a qualified GM take over. They could have done numerous things besides what they have done to reach this pathetic level.

I hope they set every futility record there is. Not just to guarantee McEichel but because I want these asswipes that run this team to feel the embarrassment of putting together the worst team in NHL history. MAYBE that will be the low point and there starts to be some freaking accountability around here to ice an NHL team.

Prospects or no prospects this team has NEVER been further away from a Cup than we are right now.

This isn't hockey. They may not win 5 games the rest of the year. Living in Nashville I don't know how you can stomach watching this. With Myers that injury should be about 12 games.

If you suspend Zadarov for not showing up on time then you need to do something to Hodgson for not showing up all year.

After watching 5+ periods of these two teams play each other it is obvious Edmonton is much better.

Just seems brighter than normal and cameras are closer to the action.
