The players should be embracing the tank as much as anyone. Had we decided to go a different route in rebuilding this team half the guys in tonight's lineup would be where they belong. Either the AHL or Domino's.

Agree 100%. No way he does anything remotely like this with McEichel. Most of us have said if we finish 3rd he will probably move the pick. He almost has to.

Keeping the faith. We could have came out of these two games in a lot worse shape. We will make it interesting but I think we got this.

I just want this to be over. Whatever the hockey gods decide is in our future I am ready for it. I think we end up with McEichel whether we finish last or not but, if not, we move forward and get back to restoring this franchise.

I would have liked to have seen the entire interview. He could have just been messing with the guy a little and wasn't being totally serious. Just the quote itself seems kind of dorky but I can't see him being that big of a dork.

Yeah that was it. This is beyond the team being bad and sucking. It is about letting a franchise reach a level that the fans find it OK to openly boo the guys for trying to win. Argue that all you want. It is not even debatable.

This is exactly why I posted what I did at the start of the day that a lot of you jumped all over me for. Pro or anti Tank this is a horrible day in our franchise history. For our franchise and a good portion of the fans in the arena to reach this level has me embarrassed to be a fan. Regardless if what comes of this "rebuild" this is the low point.

Ruffling feathers around here is pretty easy because a handful of you feel the need to critique or put down everyone else's post. I don't get how my OP was ruffling feathers. Well most of them are playing meaningful games right now trying to get into the playoffs. Their fans are going to the games rooting for their team. Fans at home are not cheering when the other team scores. Yeah that is hockey purgatory. Shame on those other 12 that they will never have a chance to win a Cup because they don't have McEichel. The more I read what Anna has to say the more i kind of get where she is coming from.

The point I was making in my original post is no matter how you spin it this is a sad day in Sabres history. Now it seems you want to give me crap over every post I make. I don't pay enough attention to yours or anyone else's for that matter to remember exactly how everyone has felt during the 2+ years of this shitshow. I can tell you TODAY I want the Sabres to lose. Do I need to again state the obvious as to why??? I will also AGAIN state that, given MY preference we wouldn't be in this position in the first place. So since you are so concerned with my posts and feelings I hope that clears it up. It sure as hell would be nice to post in here once in awhile without having to constantly defend every freaking thing you say. Get over yourselves guys.
