All I know is there's only one way out of this for the sabres and that is to continue to suck and even suck more than they currently do. A top 3 pick this year and move some of the older guys for prospects and suck even worse next year and we will be all set to draft Connor mcdavid in 2015. Heck it might be worth keeping Darcy for 2 more years so they can continue to suck and we can become the penguins of the 2020s. Heck if we follow the bills path of mediocrity we wont be due to make the playoffs till 2020 anyway.

It would be the first step in rebuilding and id be alpine for that trade a 6-2 215 pound winger is one of the 4 or 5 players they need to rebuild around. Then hopefully they can bottom out and draft top 3 and well have 2/3 of a number one line.

I don't even understand the debate here. It was stupid and he deserved 5. They teach 5 year Olds not to hit in that situation even going as far as too put stop signs on the back of jerseys as a reminder not bump someone in that position. Kelatas a grown man and should be able to figure this out after playing hockey for 20 years. If your gonna play the game you better be ready to pay the price either with your fists or by getting suspended.
