  1. That does seem to be the trend.
  2. Have they mailed the playoff invoices yet?? :P
  3. Bold 1. I just don't think the system matters, if you don't follow one FUNDAMENTAL rule as a d-man: In a one-on-one situation, play the man, not the puck. Bold 2: Or maybe the head coach?
  4. Get your point, but as a UFA who gets to choose, there will be better choices than Buffalo if he wants to win. I don't get the impression that he is all about the $$$, so we will be at a disadvantage.
  5. Although it was a trade, moving to a great team kinda worked for Barrasso too!
  6. Hire a guy who has a history of coaching defencemen at the NHL level, not former Sabres players with no experience in coaching before their retirement from playing. Oh, and make him a guy who has coached guys to play the man, and not stick check. You know, fundamentals............. I wouldn't quit on him yet. Soupy sucked at this age, and was up and down between the NHL/AHL before he made it. Traditionally, d takes much longer to develop. The kid was thrown in pretty early on a team whose veteran defenceman refuse to play the man instead of the puck. Who's his role model? Regehr is the exception, but hasn't been here from day one for and is on the downside of his career. (Another DR attempt to spend on what he doesn't draft.) LR was more a forward than a defenceman, mainly because he wasn't very good on the back end. Patrick was a soft offensive defenceman and a king of the poke check. Who's been teaching this kid? The longer he has been away from his junior coaches, the more he has regressed.
  7. JW or DB? Gaustad needed to go. I give the guy credit for dropping weight, because he knew skating at the NHL level was a struggle for him. A #1 for him was a steal. We (the fans) wanted him to be our tough guy. He was tall, skinny and got his backside kicked. He wasn't a physical presence. Happy for him that he moved on to a competitive team, Fourth line players shouldn't be that hard to replace for an NHL GM if he could actually find top six players. As to topic, I'm convinced that if Miller is allowed to go into next year as a UFA, he'd be an idiot to sign with Buffalo. He should follow the quality goalies we've had who go on to win a cup with a good organization.

    Plan B

I'll just watch all the play-offs I can, and let my gut dictate my rooting interest at start of each series. The tough ones will be where I dislike both teams.
  9. Perfect!
  10. Things just kinda snowball. Bad passing certainly makes you look slow and play slow, Tape to tape is a real rarity, even when we aren't pressured at times.
  11. Fans. As to TP's money/dream, he should of done his homework better. I'll admit I skimmed the bulk of the narrative by wild, but I did read that last line.
  12. Refs are allowing the Flyers to out work our boys? LOL
  13. It's a man's game. The team perceived as better, usually gets the calls. Ennis turned into the hit, I have no idea, nor do you, what Scott said. We are at or near the worst team in the league, and it is not because of the refs.
  14. Hate to say it, but I can't blame the refs when we are soooo inferior as a team. DR and his players suck. Our dressing romm is very nice though.
  15. Hate to say it, but losers tend to whine. And we are losers and whiners.
  16. Be glad u can't watch it. I'm about to channel surf. Or read and listen.
  17. If Grigs made the play Ennis did, would he be in the line-up?
  18. We have no must wins. It has been over for awhile.
  19. Stafford is a decent 1 milion dollar a year player. What are we paying him?
  20. 9,63,42 usual abortion in their own end. Gosh they play bigger than their size!!!!!! LOL
  21. lotta kids on the board. http://video.search....http</span></u> and also, this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ofev3nwJjFs
