Had a goal and assist in my game on Monday! The guy I assisted returned the favor, we won 3 - 0, our goalie stopped at least 3 breakaways. The league I'm playing in now only has 2 teams and we scramble the teams up each week. It's like super beginner league. A group of us are starting a team to play at a new rink that's opening up to be the San Diego Gulls practice facility. We have our first game of that season this Sunday, I can't wait to check it out, sounds like they put in real NHL boards from the Ducks arena.

There's an XBMC (Kodi.tv) plugin for GameCenter Live for PC. I recommend downloading this if you're on a PC, it lets you stream the 5000kbps 60fps stream that is not available through the web interface. Once you install Kodi.tv you can get the GCL add on through it's interface, info here: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:NHL_Gamecenter You'll need to add your username/password to login I think through the Add-On settings, I think I had to right click it.

Threads seem to grow faster than I can keep up with. I'll start reading through some posts and sometimes I'll want to chime in on something, but then I realize it was posted a week ago and there's already 10 more pages of posts. Replying would be completely off topic by that point and it would just get ignored. I'll just stick to yelling GOAL! in game day threads. I'm generally just more interested in everyone else's opinions, I don't feel I have much to add. This isn't the only place I lurk.

Get rid of icing and offsides and goto an indoor soccer 3 line rule (can't pass across 3 lines). It would open up the ice more. Players could get behind the defense for a "long ball" strategy. Realistically I'd say reduce the goalie pads, especially chest/shoulder. They look obese with the pads on. Without them they're skinny as a twig. Most of the pads are protecting air.
