If I were in the situation and had money to blow I would do it just to be safe. Especially because I'm sure any talks would have happened earlier in the process... I'm not saying this is the case, but it's worth thinking about as a possibility.

I don't think so. I think this was an actual case of a coach underperforming. BUT, I do think the 49ers and Browns are big time... Which shows you it's going to be tough as hell to land a QB in this draft. Bills will either have to stumble the rest of the year or hope that Tyrod is truly the future (which I and others still have plenty of reason to doubt). Teams have recognized the talent at the QB position in this draft and are now going to race to it.

Super late but I was so happy when the Blues did this. It allowed us to have our own exclusive color combo if we ever go back to just Royal and gold.

Donald Trump just appeared on Fox Sports 1 for Colin Cowherd's radio show. Two of the most intolerable people in TV together, what could go wrong? Surprisingly... Nothing. It was like they were meant to be because I didn't feel like lighting myself on fire. Trump did say he doesn't know who is running mate will be and said he would consider somebody from the current list of candidates (not Rubio, Carson or Bush, though). The one part I felt was foolish was that Trump said Obama made a mistake by announcing that we'll be deploying troops to Syria. Defense spending is out biggest category, I think the public has a right to know (as does the rest of the world if we're going to be entering a country for the purpose of removing/killing other humans). Trump continued to go after John Oliver and said he would rather attack somebody than let something they said go (no surprise there).

Again, I was caught up. Didn't know there was an episode last night as I work nights and just DVR shows. If I was multiple episodes behind of course it would be stupid to enter the thread.

Nobody is saying you can't talk about it, though. That has literally never been said despite you saying it multiple times. We had this discussion as a board a while back and agreed that spoiler tags should be applied if you're mentioning content from an episode that just aired. As I said I had no clue there was an episode last night. I was having a discussion in the thread and checked it to see if anybody had something new to say. The very first post was a big spoiler for the episode. It's a very simple thing that somebody is asking for you. I'm not asking you to move mountains. AT LEAST give it 24 hours. That's why the board has a spoiler tag.

When Bogo returns we'll have: Bogo, Risto, Gorges, McCabe, Pysyk, Franson for the top six Then we'll have Weber, Colaiacovo, Donovan and then, to an extent, Ruhwedel and Sanguinetti. I think we have plenty of bottom-pairing depth with and without Bogo.

I promise you it's not that hard to add a spoiler tag for content from an episode that just aired (looking at the time stamp it looks like you may have actually posted it WHILE the episode aired). This game isn't over, but it's clear that the Mets need to swing big for relievers this offseason. I think they should consider bringing back K-Rod and calling Washington about Storen. They won't be able to keep Cespedes, so they may want to revisit the possibility of a bat for Wheeler trade (even though I really like Wheeler). Also, we'll see if this World Series performance will help teams get smart about Murphy. I wouldn't be spending much on him if anything at all.

Obligatory "Yadier Molina got traded to the Royals?" joke. But bold nonetheless. I think the assumption is that he won't be batting again anytime soon and the Mets aren't a running team.

This team really needs a bump defensively. Bogo is the hard-nosed type they need. He's in line to help this team. Plus he'll be right there if the other team decides to snow our goaltender. I just hope this injury isn't something serious (i.e. I hope he didn't blow his knee). The Sabres have a sweettooth and Bogo is the sugar to fulfill their needs. Since Bylsma is such a line tweaker we might have to look into the eightball to see who Bogo is paired with. He's also got an awesome personality, occasionally making teammates snort with laughter.
