  1. Eichel finally gets an assist!
  2. That could happen to anybody. No. It's not worth having Weber on the ice.
  3. My original post was a joke. I give Weber credit for nothing. I just want him off the ice.
  4. I'm willing to give Weber credit for fighting. It's the only positive thing he does... Mainly the part where it takes him off the ice for five minutes.
  5. Miller tribute video that was played on the video board: https://twitter.com/BuffaloSabres/status/663058715499560960
  6. I'd prefer if it somebody else held BOTH of his hands... behind his back... in a storage closet.
  7. Pysyk got all of one practice on the first pairing. Back to the bottom with Weber.
  8. Agreed. I like Dembe and wouldn't mind it if they had almost a whole episode dedicated to him. Also - I find it weird that PeeWee Herman is always connected to drugs now. He was big time in Blow and was in this show. I guess that's a natural transition for him.
  9. Avs sent Zadorov down
  10. It's great because of Spader. The supporting cast is pretty well done, but they all work around him.
  11. It's a matter of who is available, too. You're not going to get a better QB on the trade market than Stafford generally. Regardless of what they do it's going to cost some hefty assets to get Stafford or a rookie. Do you want the sure thing or take a chance on a kid? I'm willing to do either with my head leaning towards Paxton Lynch and Jared Goff.
  12. I'm not worried about moving contracts when it comes to fitting a QB in. Again, I prefer one of the top three rookies. But when it comes to the QB position this team needs to move mountains to make it work. Enough mediocrity.
  13. This week's Heroes featured one of the worst mistakes I've seen on network television. They have a scene where they go over the wreckage of an explosion and you VERY CLEARLY see a victim quickly lay down to make it look like they're either dead or need medical attention.
  14. There would be no QB battle.
  15. ICYMI: Habs unveiled their Winter Classic jerseys: http://www.icethetics.co/blog/2015/11/6/canadiens-officially-reveal-2016-winter-classic-jersey
  16. They referred to him as a "long-term project." I still believe we hosed them there. They should've targeted and much more "sure thing" on the blueline.
  17. Would you say Spader's performance is MVP-worthy? :p (PS - I agree)
  18. Golden Tate was absolutely an MVP candidate last season... The end of the season was obviously all Rodgers-Watt, but Tate was discussed during the season. http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2014/10/27/detroit-lions-three-questions-drew-sharp/17985579/ (I know it's a Detroit source, but they aren't the only ones that discussed the possibility during the season) Regardless, Tate's statline when asked to step up as a number one receiver was near the top of the league. It proves that Stafford isn't just relying on Calvin Johnson for stats. Why would the Lions move on? Well, they're looking to hit the reset button. They're likely going to be picking in the top five which will give them the opportunity to pick a new QB on a rookie contract that a new regime can call their own. That doesn't mean Stafford is terrible. I do believe they're making a mistake if they move him, but they're not moving him because his some bottom-feeding garbage QB. It's funny that you're throwing so many unwarranted remarks in there because of my evaluation of two players (Stafford and Tannehill). These are the two QBs you're likely to get the most legitimate debate about. Maybe Andy Dalton would generate more, but the opinions of both are going to vary from person to person/fanbase to fanbase. I PREFER the route of rookie QB, but it's going to take more assets than Stafford plus mean we're going to need more patience/likely shutting the window for this team.
  19. Yea, I'm still undecided on whether or not I will go beyond season four this time around. There's still talk of them reviving the show. I didn't hate the last few seasons as much as everybody else did but I HATED the finale. My hope is that they revive it and just act like the finale never happened/re-do it.
  20. Right now I'm watching: The Blacklist (NBC on Thursday nights) - fantastic show with great characters and chemistry Walking Dead (AMC on Sunday nights) - zombies take a backseat to human issues Benders (IMC) - Dennis Leary's hockey comedy project has largely fallen flat but has potential Heroes Reborn (NBC on Thursday nights) - what a glorious disappointment, TERRIBLE acting and bad storylines Also rewatching Dexter from the beginning because that show is absolutely brilliant.
  21. You can't tame a wild chicken without taking a few cuts yourself. Cluck cluck.
  22. 5000 is near record breaking. Calling him a 4000 yard QB is a major compliment. He's a phenomenal talent. The Bills haven't had a QB on his level since JK (Bledsoe was closest but wasn't good long enough here). He throws WRs open constantly. And as soon as Calvin Johnson went down last year he turned Golden Tate into an MVP-caliber WR. This guy is a stud. Gimme.
  23. Matthew Stafford put it all together a long time ago. He's not some question mark. He threw for over 5000 yards once, over 4200 four times and is on pace to do that again this season... There's no "put it all together." He is what he is (a gunslinger with the ability to make up for any mistakes that come with that mentality).
  24. What the hell? Eichel's on the third line now essentially.
  25. I'm sure the Bills had absolutely zero say in those jerseys, for the record. This was probably all Nike and NFL. "Here, wear these."
