Can't argue. I think JBOT used the same line of Beane and the Bills. The second year will be to clear the cap and hope to be competitive. But the NHL is not the NFL. He'll be here next year and better show major progress. I like JBOT but I'm getting very skeptical of his ability to build a team in the Buffalo mold.
Another small forward as soft as butter. He'd fit right in but is that what we need? I don't want our players to play "out of character", I want them to have that character in the first place.
Good point. All I can think of are:
Randy Sexton - Some continuity and may be better than JBOT.
Mark Hunter - Lost power struggle with Dubas in TO.
Rick Dudley - Because he's Rick frickin' Dudley (and has lots of FO experience).
