    D'Amigo's back in. Hockey players are tough. I had a crown put in last week and I took the whole day off from work.

    Grigo invisible as usual. I don't see him in the future plans. The puck is rarely on his stick. I know he's young, but we should see something positive.

    Risto is starting to look good every game now. A ton more poise than in the past.

    The Caps may be tired but they're not that bad. The boys are playing really well tonight.

    Coincidence/Conspiracy Theory? Hackett needs to play 30 minutes or more in 7 more games to become an RFA. Tonight he played 33 minutes then was pulled.

    What do you think about Nic Deslauriers going back to defense full time next year? I think he could be a good 5-6 defenseman.

    Agree. Maybe GMTM was holding out for a 2nd knowing that was a stretch. If his real worth was a 4th to begin with, we're only losing value to an unrealistic expectation, not reality. We'll get the 4th later on today.

    I agree with the risk part. I would not have played him today. However, I think GMTM will trade Stewart even if it's for a 7th rounder. He wont let him walk for nothing so it's not about liking or disliking a current offer.

    I'm very surprised that GMTM is not sitting Stewart. I thought he was smarter than that.

    Pysyk makes a bigger difference than many people think.

    Excellent call French. First time I've heard Ennis called Nifty (a la Middleton). It fits and it's nice to know someone else on this board was around when Middleton was nifty.
