McCabe/Pysyk are really cool with the puck.
-
Too soon.

He's been Leino'ed.

ROR is worth every penny. He was rumored to want 8 mil. He got 7 and his brother got a sweet 700k to play in Roch. ROR always says how much he looks up to his brother. I think his brother's contract sealed the deal for him to sign here.

Solid period with the exception of the Johnson blunder. -
Totally agree with Gionta. 20+ minutes and doesnt sniff the net. Anyone know of his no movement status for this year?
-
Sounds reasonable. I like Ennis, but I'd think long and hard if we could get a top 4 D-man and a prospect.
-
Agreed. I think GMTM thought about finances last year when he gave Mezaros $4 million. That was a calculated tank move to look like a reasonable salary for a veteran while ensuring he got to the CAP floor. That move was shrewd. Franson this year was financially motivated. No way he's on the team at $ 5 milion.
-
He didnt look out of place, but didnt make any really big saves. I think the speed of the NHL game surprised him (expectedly so). For his first NHL game, I'll go B-.
-
I thought he played the puck well. That sounds very much like we punted well. I think Ennis is valuable. Every other team would be interested in him. What would you want for him?
-
We need Bogo back soon. Weber/Carlo are really hurting us. Franson has offensive upside so he's OK. I'm still little disappointed in Gorges.
-
Before the season, I expected the Sabres to be bad this year. I was braced for it. Now that the season has begun, and we're playing better than I thought and cant score, I'm pissed. Guess I need to recalibrate.
-
Is Weber hurt or a healthy scratch?
-
Kane's been itchin to fight every game.
-
I agree. We are outplaying other teams, aren't we. It's not that we're so much better than last year that we think we are, right?
-
Yep. Didnt mind Tucker so much but Cyr (with the exception of one Boston game) was a waste of roster spot.

I remember Labombe as number 32 (not 15) back in the mid 80's when I had season tickets. They called him "anvil" because he was supposedly built like one. I remember one game where Lacombe got hit and "was out on his feet". As he tried to get back to the bench, the other team just kept bumping him to the ice. He looked like a human pinball. The fans and the Sabres were yelling for the ref to blow the whistle but he was oblivious. With what we know about concussions now, it's not a funny situation. But back then, most of the crowd had a pretty good chuckle. Kind of like Gordo trying to cross traffic.

JJ, I just go to the NHL.com site, login, and get to the main page where i can select the game. Then I go to Game Preview and select the home feed. I dont get the screens you show above. Sorry, I didn't see your KODI reference, I'm a PC user with HDMI to a flatscreen.
-
Had the same question. Once you select the "Watch Live" tab, go to the Game Preview tab. It will then give you a choice of home or away feed.

Pysyk/McCabe was our best pair tonight by a lot. Should be a good top 4 when Bogo gets back with Risto. -

Agree with everything, although ROR did have trouble in the face off circle tonight.
