  1. Delusional as I may be, I'm going to bed now with that thought. See you all next game!
  2. I won't go that far, but there was something intrinsically different in this win.
  3. Regarding Lehner. The last Sabres goalie that inspired me in the same way is Tom Barrasso. His attitude was, "How dare you shoot, let alone think you can score on me". Lehner takes it a step further by saying, "How dare you shoot on me, I must now beat you down."
  4. I feel this was a different win. It really inspired progress and why we went through the tank last year. Not a watershed moment neccesarily, but different.
  5. I think it's just a slump. He's always in the right spot. I'm not too worried. But I would like to see one go in soon. Even if he's not scoring, he's not hurting us either.
  6. Many GM's say you build a team from the Goalie out. Maybe you also build a team's attitude from the goalie out. I hope this is true. Because we got the attitude.
  7. I like Lehner. The last goalie we had with that attitude was Tom Barrasso. He turned out all right.
  8. You know, that's a great point. I think GMTM has a much better idea on how to build a team with chemistry than Darcy ever did. A team has to be greater than the sum of its parts, and I think we're finally getting there. Plus, our goalie is crazy. Finally, a quality goalie that reflects our community!
  9. Hey, Lehner shutouts are real shutouts, not like Miller shutouts.
  10. Actually, it's pretty easy to distinguish the Tonawandas: There's the City of North Tonawanda The City of who gives a crap And the Town of who gives a crap
  11. From an NT guy, making a mistake like that is fightin' words. :flirt:
  12. Weber's played well in his limited role. Keeping him off the ice for trade deadline purposes? He does get hurt quite a bit.
  13. Is that a Tim Horton reference? I still remember the day I heard the news.
  14. Yeah. Cant fault the effort tonight.
