On a lighter note. Rob Ray drinking game got another swig and another chug word this period. Stold instead of stole = swig Tooken instead of taken = chug (I debated making this a chug, refill, chug, because it was sooooo good).

I'm not defending them. I'm acknowledging that they do a vital job promoting provacative discussion (aka, their job). They are entertainers like Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh and Dr. Phil. It sells papers, and therefore brings in advertising revenues, critical for a newspapers survival. Be thankful they are here. The survival of the the Buffalo News may depend on it.

They both do what they're supposed to do (and paid to do), which is to generate comment and get people talking. They are columnists, not beat reporters. The fact that we have generated 3 pages talking about them proves the point. I don't begrudge them, I do read them, but know that some times they are going for a reaction. What's life if we all agree ;) ?

Thru 2, Sabres playing smart, aggressive and their passing is exceptionally good. Fun game thus far.

MODO. I dont know you though now I wish I did. I joined this board to talk Sabres hockey and I have enjoyed it very much I didn't expect to get emotionally moved by any of the the other board members, but now I have. Jag kommer definitivt att hålla dig och din mamma i mina tankar.

I like Jerry Sullivan. He's a columnist paid to write opinions that get people talking and selling newspapers. Plus, I think he's right 90% of the time.
