They only have a 1st round pick in 2018. Their 2nd and 3rd were traded away. Would they really trade their only pick in the first 3 rounds in 2018? If not, would the Sabres take a 1st or 2nd from them in 2019??

I think we've seen Reino's ceiling. I am for trading him. Nylander, jury still out for me at 19. But a Reino and Nylander package trade may interest some team. Wonder what they could get?
Maybe it wakes up some of the vets who Guhle and Ullmark really embarrassed tonight. They need to pick up their game or start learning how to sell insurance (and I by no means am say that selling insurance is a less that honorable profession.)
Ullmark is getting paid $700k whether he's in the A or the NHL. He knows he will be in the NHL next year. Maybe he wants to ride out a championship team in Rochester? There is something to be said to be on a winning team.
